"Overall we are very pleased with our new roof and with working with Jonathan and the rest of the crew at The Roofing Annex. The quality of the new roof and their ability to interface with our insurance adjuster were very much appreciated. The crew that did the roof install were excellent and friendly and got the job knocked out in one day. The only thing that ended less than satisfactorily was that additional damage to the interior of the home which was part of the claim was supposed to be coordinated by Roofing Annex with another sub contractor and that never happened. Probably not the fault of TRA but I thought it should be noted if you are in need of more repairs outside of just the roof. As it turned out I am working directly with my insurance adjuster and this is being taken care of anyway. All in all I would still recommend TRA to family and friends."

"We needed to have our gutters checked because of excessive over-flowing at the point of the downspouts and causing a wet basement. Our gutters had been cleaned on 12/4/2014 by Ohio Roof and we purchase gutter guards to eliminate this yearly expense. Based on the water in our basement, the basement repair company, Rogers, called in James to check our gutters. It was discovered that the downspouts had not been cleaned in December and the gutter guards had been incorrectly installed. James was certified to install our brand of gutter guards and corrected both issues. His price and professionalism was the reason why we choose to use him rather than having Ohio Roof come back and correct. We had concerns that it would not be done correctly after talking with the owner who was explaining that there were different ways to install the gutter guards. We did not have any confidence in getting it done right so choose to spend more money and happy with working with James. <br />"

"I had a full tear off and replacement of roof on my three-story, 107-year-old home. It was exhausting to me, so I can only imagine what a hard job it was for the workers. A team of about 10 men did the job in four days. It was estimated to take three days, but they discovered there were four layers of roofing up top, not the three layers they expected. Also it was mid-November so the available daylight was less than in another season. The team did a good job and cleaned up afterwards. My one recommendation for anyone having roofing done is to clear everything around the base of your house and on your porches. I didn't have a lot of warning about when they would start work so I hadn't rolled up my porch rug and it got very dirty. My cedar fence was also damaged by discarded shingles. The company told me at estimate that they would need to tear off the original cedar shakes roofing, but I didn't realize what that entailed. I ended up with a horrible mess in my attic closets. I contacted Kevin S. at Maxim. He was very apologetic and sent two men out to clean up the mess. It was a nasty job. I am very grateful Maxim listened to my complaint and made it right."

They were also very accommodating to a car in my driveway that was unable to be moved and were careful about preventing shingles getting on the car! "I rated the company an A for service, punctuality, and professionalism. I thought it was a bit pricey to clean a gas fireplace and diagnose it. They were unable to service or “fix” the problem, which was disappointing and really the reason I hired them. I take partial blame, though. I would recommend the company, just not to fix a gas fireplace."
