"I wish all the contractors on this basement project were as good to deal with as Family Waterproofing. Throughout the whole process, communication was good. Ken the owner was responsive and patient in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. They prepared a detailed contract of all work to be performed, and did what they said they would. I like that they did an exploratory dig after signing the contract to make sure we had a solid plan and avoid any surprises during installation. There was an area under the basement stairs and an old cistern that required a creative solution. They came up with a solid plan that didn't add extra cost. I asked them to pour some extra concrete under the stairs which wasn't included in the contract, which they did for a good price. The crew was friendly and had a good natured camaraderie on the job. The overall cost was very fair and we received great service and quality. They are honest, care about their customers and want you to be happy. Now I'm looking forward to a big rain!"

"This is the first negative review I’ve ever left. We hired Ibro to remodel our kitchen and while he is the nicest guy, he never finished the job, the construction quality and attention to detail were poor, and worst of all was a serious bait and switch from "I'll take care of everything, everything will be so nice, don’t worry" to "that's not in the agreement!" or "That's not my job." We had a written list of included tasks and verbally agreed that when he finished the rooms would be done and there would be no further work, we needed to do. Tasks that he told us were not his job, or not in the agreement: -Replacing the base boards he removed when replacing the floor. -Installing pullout drawers included with our cabinet purchase. -Ensuring cabinet doors were hung straight. -Ensuring outlets were not crooked. -Staining the floor vents to match the flooring he installed. -Fixing the floor that gives when walked on (he replaced the subfloor in that spot!) We gave final payment with two tasks outstanding (he wore me down and I was too tired and too pregnant to fight him) and after multiple follow ups, Ibro never finished either one."

"Alan and Shane replaced all of our mid-80s single pane windows with OKNA 500 series windows. Alan came out to provide the initial estimate and Alan and his son Shane did the installation - no subcontractors just Alan and his son!! In addition they added a large picture window in our living room which completely changed/improved the space. On top of being extremely patient and professional (tolerated all my questions), the craftsmanship of the window install exceeded all of our expectations!! The attention to detail and focus on executing our vision was fantastic. They upgraded our inside casings to a ‘farmhouse’ style which turned out absolutely fantastic. They are true craftsmen!!
