"Initially it went very well.  The workman spent the time to track down the problem and correct it so that all the outdoor plugs were in working order.  There was a reasonable charge to replace the faulty plug.  Everything was working when they left.  However, within a very short time they did not work again.  I called Parco and asked them to come out and see why it was not working.  They did come and said the plug was bad and replaced it.  They told me that the next time it went out the wiring would have to be run through the walls because each time it is replaced some of it is cut off and if someone plugged into that plug and pulled it loose it would require the replacement of the wiring, which would be expensive.  I never used the new outdoor plug or allowed anyone else to and it was not working again.  I called Parco and left a message that the plugs had not been used yet but when I tried they were not working and asked them to call me back.  I needed to  know how much the wiring was going to cost and why it had gone out without being used.  They never returned my call. <br /> So initially I was very impressed with their work.  But after replacing the plug twice...it still doesn't work and they did not call me back.  After they did not call me back it made me wonder if it was ever really repaired or just a short term fix to honor the Big Deal I purchased.  I am still not sure what was going on.  I liked the way they handled everything at first but it just didn't end up working.  And since they are the only ones to ever work on the outdoor plugs since the house was built I don't know why so much of the wiring was cut off that it couldn't be repaired.  If everything was above board then why not call me back? <br />"

"The experience with Blalock Landscaping has been great, and we will use them again. Over the last two years we have worked with them steadily to take on this project, and the backyard is now done. The principal of the firm, Johnny Blalock, was instrumental in diagnosing issues and designing the solutions and aesthetics we needed and wanted. The team foreman John is also excellent to work with and the crews are always courteous and professional. They are always clear about pricing up front and provided drawings made on site and samples as we worked through ideas and through the project itself. Their team and their preferred partnering contractors (concrete, electrical) removed all the old backyard problems, regraded the drainage and installed a completely new and upgraded underground drainage system across the backyard, draining to the street. A wraparound patio was installed as well as new DG flooring, new sod, new beds and a fence to conceal our AC unit. We also completed the house gutter system and installed covers on all gutters. They also installed a raised playground base for a playlet we bought for our kids, and have redone all the electrical outlets in the yard and put in low voltage LED lighting as a final touch. In short, our yard is fully and completely transformed, and we love the result. The project took about two years to complete, but their work time was really on the order of about 3-4 weeks total spread out over this time in two major installations. Cash flow was a concern for us with a project of this scale, and they were easy to work with in figuring out how to make the project modular to fit our budget and cash-flow rate. We look forward to continuing work with them as we look to refurbishing our front yard in the future. "We have recently moved into our new home and had noticed an ongoing issue with water accumulating on the side yard. We called Texas Irrigation to make an assessment of our situation. Victor returned our call and arrived the same day! He took great care listening to our concerns and analyzed the area. He pointed out possible issues, made critical observations while our sprinkling system was running. Victor concurred with our suspicion of the slow leak on the plumbing of the irrigation system, and made the necessary adjustments to seal the leak. He provided us several suggestions to keep in mind while we made observations for the next couple days. The wet area quickly began to recede and dry up. Victor also spent some valuable time informing us about our existing sprinkling system. His performance was outstanding, and he is an excellent professional! It was clearly evident to us that Victor's objective was customer service and satisfaction. He is one sure man that you want on the job! He is thorough and efficient, and has an exceptional high work ethic that is hard to find these days. After Victor completed his work, he also had provided some suggestions to help improve the appearance of our landscaping. "Excellent! Danny and his helper Orlando arrived exactly as promised and promptly set to work. I had 5 electrical needs: 1. The ballast in my 4' by 8" fluorescent ceiling fixture in my kitchen had gone bad. I purchased two new ballast-free LED bulbs at Home Depot but the fixture had to be rewired to use the new bulbs. Danny rewired the fixture and installed the LED bulbs. I have light in my kitchen again! 2. An outlet in the guest bedroom that controlled the ceiling fan/light fixture and closet light went out. Danny tested the outlet and said this involved a neutral wire that had gotten loose somewhere. Orlando had to check all the sockets in the house to find the right one, which he did. I have light in the bedroom again! 3. I have the same fluorescent light fixture in my garage that was in my kitchen. One of the bulbs there had burned out. Danny installed two new fluorescent bulbs that I had bought in this fixture and carted off the old bulbs for me. 4. Danny replaced all the 9V batteries in my smoke alarms and tested them. (I have 9' ceilings and don't like getting on a ladder to do this). 5. The ceiling fan in my family room had a socket that seemed to be stripped and I couldn't replace the light bulb. The problem was that there was a cap on the light bulb to make it fit the socket that I had unwittingly removed when I took out the burned out bulb. I had the right size bulb and Danny replaced it for me. Danny and Orlando completed all these repairs very efficiently in an hour. Everything went very smoothly and they were very professional. Danny explained a lot of things to me which I really appreciate since I have very little electrical knowledge. I felt like he was very honest, knowledgeable and thorough. I felt the price was very reasonable for all the repairs that were done. I would recommend Danny to anyone and will definitely call him for any electrical needs in the future."
