My favorite feature (that set them apart from the other fencing companies I visited with) was their fence gate. The gate actually rolls open/shut on a wood platform that the company installs into the ground - so practical yet so necessary to prevent the usual warp that happens with fence gates. Quality!</p> <p>Called them on Friday, had a quote by Monday, and the fence was finished by Wednesday! "I initially contacted David to get a quote and go over my different fencing options. For what I was looking for, he recommended a wooden fence. He came out and gave me a quote which was within $200 (less than) of the other two quotes I received. David said that he would be able to get it finished a few days after I received the approval from my Homeowner's Association. I received the approval about 3 weeks later, and I called him. Unfortunately, he said that he was a couple of week's behind because of the rainy weather we had. He did, however, offer to put up a temporary chain link fence so I would be able to let the dog out, which was what I was primarily concerned with. While I waited for that (we continued to get awful weather), he called me about 5-7 days later and said that he would not be doing the chain link because he could fit me in his schedule and knock out the wood fence. Yay! He was going to be out of town at the beginning of the following week, but he brought his guys over to walk the area and give them specific directions/mark the lines. On Monday, the guys showed up early in the morning and worked all day to get the posts in. The following day, they were able to complete the fence. It looks great! The material is made of good quality and all of the posts are very uniform. It is exactly where I wanted it. I did have a little interaction with the guys when I had come home during the day to receive a delivery. They were very professional and upbeat. I was impressed by both that and their efficiency. David did not ask for payment until I was completely satisfied...which is exactly what I was. I am very happy with both the company, people, and the work they did. <br />"

"I called S and E when I was in town for a very short period of time to install a fence for my secondary home. He came right at the time he indicated. He looked things over and gave me an estimate using new and used materials to keep in time with the home. The estimate he gave me was for $500.00 less than the other fencer I called and I was a little concerned that the workmanship might not be that good, but decided to have him do the work anyway. <br /> It turned out great and I am so pleased. I can't see where another $500 would have made a better fence. <br /> He was a wonderful person and I would use him again. I just joined Angie's List so I could not write a review until now, but feel so strongly about his service I wanted to give him a review. <br />"

"John Adams has done a lot of work for me. He is very versatile. I have used him for plumbing, painting, decks and flooring work. He is probably one of the best painters I have ever seen. He has done irrigation work for me and has repaired it. I have used him for roofing. He has built structures for me. He has done some repairs outside the house. We had boring bees and he has fixed all those, repaired the wood and got rid of the bees. He has built pergolas and greenhouses. We had an irrigation problem for our outside sprinklers for probably two years and we couldn’t get anybody to come out and he fixed it within a few days. He builds fences and walls. He is the best. He charges hourly and charges by the job also. He is coming again today but he is here at least once a week. He does work by himself. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future."

"He told us, after doing the research, he knew where we could put a fence and how far we could go with it on our property line. He was pretty knowledgeable and seemed to have a pretty good grasp on what was going on. He told us we would get an email within a couple of days with the estimate and all the information about the fence we requested info on. They responded within 2-3 business days. They weren't pushy, they were very professional and punctual. My wife is nit picky about people when they come to the house and she thought they were courteous and all of that. They seemed like good people it's just that it was more than I wanted to spend on a fence at the moment."
