"I lived in this house for 20+ years. The basement was always damp and at some points flooded. Since the work was done, the basement has been bone dry for 2+ months. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it as I'm so used to the basement being wet when it rains. I'd recommend them to anyone. The crew, headed by Philip, truly worked their butts off. It was heavy exhausting work to excavate and rebuild the basement walls, as well as jack hammering out the concrete basement floor to put in the French drain, pour the concrete, etc. But they took great care & did a fabulous job. They even came and worked on a weekend when we were being threatened with a tropical storm to make sure that the basement was properly secured enough to withstand the storm (which thankfully did not come)."

The concrete and landscaping work that Mike Normile did here at my home is excellent and has really changed and improved the exterior appearance of my home. He also did extra things free of charge. Everyone who has surveyed the completed job has remarked about its excellence. Mike and his crew showed up on time, worked hard, and were trustworthy and professional. The total project took longer than expected because of weather delays. Mike was always available in the evening to discuss the progress of the work. I was also able to contact Mike after the job was completed and paid for and he came back and did a few little things. This was a big project that I put off doing for at least ten years. It was expensive but well worth the money. I am glad that I finally went ahead and got this work done. "In March 2011, a rock pad was laid as a foundation for our large garage being delivered.  Excellent work performed.  As a result of the impressive, professional job done, we had Rock a Fellas redo our deck in July, 2011.  A re-decking took place with Timbertech decking materials with radiance rails.  This was not an easy job, but Rock was very helpful in offering important advice and opinions on where to select materials etc.  He also took care of ordering the dumpster to haul away debris, a detail which can be overlooked by an overwhelmed customer.  He also rectified any concerns/issues with a prompt, professional manner which ultimately led to our great satisfaction when job was completed. <br />"

"Bob was very punctual and his communication before and during the job was very good.  <br /> I should have set a completion date so that I was sure of the days they would be there all day .vs part of the day or not at all. A couple of the days I was told they would be there but they weren't able to accomplish that extending the project into the next week. <br /> Overall they did a good job. There were several detail things/short cuts that were missed and discovered when the painter arrived. Not the end of the world but I would have done it a bit differently next time.  They were good about doing as we asked as the project progressed. If you are very detail oriented I would get EVERYTHING in writing before the job. Not just the basics. <br /> They did an great job of keeping the mess to a minimum during the work and and always cleaned up after every day of work. I felt comfortable about them in the house during the work and would recommend them with a word of caution realtive to the details  <br /> and specifics. <br /> Everything looks good, now that we are complete. <br />"

"The old bathroom was poorly designed, with a footprint that was tiny and a tub (no shower) that was directly under the service panel for the entire house. <br /> The project involved digging up the concrete floor in an adjacent space, installing new plumbing and framing out a new room. Since this is a pretty remote weekend retreat 1 1/2 hrs from our home, we couldn't be on site. Both my husband and I had complete confidence in Justin Buterbaugh's professionalism, expertise and trustworthiness. We had to give him the keys to all the buildings on the property (some materials were stored there) but after meeting him twice (once for the initial specs and bid, the second time to give him the keys and review specifics of the job and walk-through the details), I had no question about leaving the project in his hands. <br /> Aside from delivering materials after the initial demo when there were no workers on site, we were unable to supervise or check in on any of the work. Justin kept me up to date more often than I expected or required and was very prompt with answers to questions on details that I forgot initially. He called with a few questions that he couldn't have decided on his own.  <br /> We had an old table that we wanted as a vanity and hoped to prepare it ourselves but ran out of time (frankly, it was beyond our abilities, too). Justin not only cut it to size for the project but repaired a leg, completely sanded, painted, distressed and finished it to make it a beautiful centerpiece for the new bathroom.  <br /> He completed the project in a timely manner which allowed us to use the cabin for New Year's eve (our family tradition). In spite of having another appointment, he spent nearly 4 hours on New Year's Eve repairing an old drain (kitchen) that was leaking near the new bathroom that was unrelated to any of the work he did which really wasn't his problem or fault. We were in a bind for sure and never would have expected him to fix it but he patiently and quite expertly fixed if for us. <br /> Having completed a few other bathroom projects at our home location, the cost of the project was completely in line with the quality and expertise. I might have found someone cheaper (and in fact did 4 years ago who backed out) but would likely have had a substandard finished product and way more hassles. <br /> We definitely plan to hire Buterbaugh's for other projects at the cabin, including replacing windows and a roof in the near future. I am 100 % satisfied and highly recommend him. <br />"
