"Jose and his crew installed a~360 sq. ft. patio using Nicolock pavers and contrasting charcoal border pavers in 2.5 days. Outstanding job. When I asked them about using edging to prevent the pavers from shifting, I was told that he does not use edging. Instead the perimeter is first installed as retaining wall blocks set in mortar! After the perimeter is set, the site is then excavated, compacted, covered with weed suppressing fabric. The fabric is then covered with crushed stone layer, compacted and sand is then laid on top, compacted and leveled and properly graded. I chose the herringbone design shown in their logo and very happy with the choice. The border pavers are laid on top of the retaining wall blocks and are "glued" to them using mortar/liquid cement. After the border pavers had set, the crew applied polymer sand to fill in the gaps between pavers. This "grouting" was done twice. The final product is solid as a rock and not going anywhere! Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "Very thorough preparation--removal of prior driveway, substantial excavation to permit required base of crushed stone and sand, concrete footings around perimeter of driveway to stabilize edges of paver driveway. Very nice work setting pavers, setting trim pavers on edges, trimming pavers to fit where driveway wasn't square, and applying polymeric sand to seal joints."

"We were looking into redoing our old deck and got a quote which we thought was reasonable for our large deck. Then for another estimate, we called 7th State Builders. They explained that for the same cost, we could get a paver stone patio (which in the long run is far less maintenance). The owner worked with our budget and the gentlemen who laid our pavers were extremely professional and worked within our wishes. They removed the deck and finished the patio in about a week. Awesome job! After a week or so, it had rain for a period of time and we noticed that a small dip in the patio was collecting a puddle. After a call, they came out and fixed the problem.
