"Blake responded quickly and assessed the issue I had with my deck rail cable system. He ordered the parts and was back the day after he received them. Cable system repaired perfectly. I would hire Blake again for any construction related issue I have. Thanks!"

"Great! Initial job was for one day but since I had so much work took a day and half. They did great work, cleaned up and smoothed up the yard where the trees had fallen and damaged the yard. Would definitely hire again."

"My chimney was in serious need of repair. Steve did a high quality job to say the least. He was on time, professional and even did a thorough clean up when he finished the job. He was also very personable and I enjoyed our conversations. Definitely recommend!"

"Showed up late, but worked hard until well after dark. Did not get all leaves and debris out of the beds, but the edging and mulch was well- applied. I have also had them re-design and completely transform my back yard, and this work was done without compare. I LOVE my yard now. It was a mass of poison ivy and sasafrass trees- now it is an oasis. Thanks to Tim's designs, this was an amazing transformation (that was about $28,000). But worth it. <br />"

"<br /> Daniel stays busy so he can be hard to speak to on the phone.  But he works like a dog and he has a good eye for detail.  He catches what his crew misses and gets it done correctly.  He took on a much larger project than he'd ever done before and did a good job of cleaning and staining the logs for a 4,000 sq ft house and  cleaning the roof.  Hopefully, it will be a few years before I need to use professional steam cleaning services again but i will call Daniel first. <br /> <br /> I also found him to be a man of excellent character and extreme honesty . . . which unfortunately is too rare nowadays.  <br /> <br /> Finally, Daniel is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades so he can see problems that you may not even be aware of.  In my case, he pointed out how a disconnected gutter was dropping a hard flow of water on the logs and washing away the stain. <br />   <br />"

"Average, they required a lot of direction and it took them several visits to complete a small job. They performed what was asked of them; however, I should have requested a firm price bid for the work since they took longer than expected. <br />"

"He arrived promptly, on time and on short notice.  I had already figured out where the leak was located and he informed me that this was a "valley leak" -- a leak at the point where two roof planes intersect.  He needed to have a partner assist him with the job as the roof is high and steep but he stated that the seam/valley would need sealant applied.  He applied the sealant and informed me that the roof should not leak anymore (one-year warranty for repairs).  The whole job took about 30 minutes from start to finish, once he had agreed with my assessment of the source of the leak, called in his partner and got up on the roof.  He charged $400 for his repair which I though was high.  When I questioned him, he said that the sealant was $75 a gallon.  I still think $325 is still a lot for the rest of his time and labor (no more than 2 hours from the time I first spoke with him on the phone to when he drove off after completing the job), and when I checked prices on roof sealant at Lowe's the next weekend, I didn't see anything costing more than $48 a gallon...  I live in a large home in an upscale neighborhood and I have to believe that I got the "high-end rate" on his fee schedule.  To top it off, he suggested that I will need a new roof in another year or two, in spite of this roof being only 20 years into a 40 year shingle, and also having been checked out only a month previously by another roofer/repair man (who installed a couple of aluminum vent openings, and who was unavailable for this job on such short-notice) and being declared in "great shape" and not needing replacement for at least another 10 years.  The valley leak repair seems to have been done properly, but I would try to get an upfront cost if possible, and would also consider getting a second opinion if more work is recommended. <br />"

"We used A Cut Above for many months (almost a full year), and highly recommend them.  They cut the grass every two weeks for us, and were always quick and efficient.  Occasionally some minor details would be missed, but this didn't happen often, and we're not the type to be very picky about our lawn (though it always looked nice when they did it).  Overall, really really impressed. The only reason we stopped using them is because my husband started staying home, so he cuts our grass on the weekends now.  Otherwise, wouldn't have stopped! <br />"

"We had obtained several quotes for replacing the roof on our garage. Chris's quote came in way below the other quotes and included several extras that the other contractors ignored. We are very pleased with the roof and look forward to CSN completing additional work on our home."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Bristol, TN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
