"They worked for at least 8hrs and fixed both of my leaks. I was very happy because I thought my bill was going to be over $2000.00. I would highly recommend them. One of my outdoor faucets had broke because it was cold and my neighbor had fixed it but smelled gas while he was fixing it. That's when I called Neff's, they contacted the gas company and the gas company came out and disconnected my gas main and that's when Neff's fixed the two different gas leaks and also fixed my water heater that blew up. I had also called them around 7am a different time because of an indoor water leak and he said that his plumbers were not in the office yet but he came right over and fixed it for me. They are so professional and very nice people and very polite. They come and get the job done and don't loaf around. I will continue to use them in the future."

"When I opened my Hot Water Heater closet I saw that the floor was damp and assumed that I had a leaking valve. After reviewing Angie's list I identified "My Dad's Plumber" as a reputable company with many positive customer reports. I called them and explained my problem expecting them to schedule me for the following day. I was very surprised when they said they would be at my home in a couple of hours to check out and resolve what ever problems I had. When they arrived they checked my system and found that the 15 year old heater was leaking internally and really needed replacing, which they completed in a couple of hours as part of the trouble call. Eric and Louis, the techs working the issue were exceedingly polite and professional, displaying work ethics which I rarely see these days. They did an excellent job of informing me on their progress and quickly replaced the leaking system with a new tank. It was a pleasure dealing with these folks and I highly recommend this company for any plumbing issue you may ever have!"

"We first used this company when I needed to replace a faucet in my sink at another house. They were very good and also cleaned out some drains and checked for leaks. We signed up for their annual maintenance (something like $14.95 a month). This visit was that inspection. They cleaned out drains, checked for leaks, did some minor repairs, checked the hot water heater and such. After we had an electrical tune-up by our heating and cooling guy, A-1 came back to fix some minor issue that the electrician noticed (no charge). Overall worth the money to know that everything is flowing smoothly. <br />"

"Not good, with all the patch jobs I have lost confidence in the quality of work. Findings after installation: - baseboard sloppy mend - side panel not secured to the wall (weight of glass door pulled it further off the wall) - hot water and cold water swapped - black specs on glass We did a partial install refreshing the shower in our master bathroom and have had multiple issues. The issues have been addressed but for the amount of money spent, the install quality should have been better. Some of these were an easy fix, but an inconvenience for us to constantly address issue after issue. They sent multiple technicians and the issues had to be re-addressed again and again. The technician said these can be common findings and give a call if there are further repairs needed. We went with Re Bath because it was a one-stop-shop. The install was many different crews. For us, we had plumbing, electrician, glass specialty, install of the shower panels plus the many repair appointments that followed. On a positive note, the shower (after repairs) looked a lot better than our builder-grade shower. We didn't have any out-of-pocket fees for the repairs with the shower being less than 6 months since initial installation. Although I don't have grout to clean pink mold does build up in between the cracks where grout would have been. Strong chemicals are not recommended for cleaning due to the material. This week I noticed the top of the shower is separating from the ceiling. Customer service has been contacted but disappointed to find something else to fix. Product material is good +1 Price for experience is poor -1 Installation -1 Quality check -1 Tech experience -1 UPDATE: With the last repair, things went smoothly. Re-Bath fixed the issue with a positive attitude. The repairs were checked and doubled checked to customer satisfaction. I really wanted that excellent experience that so many of their customers rave about which is why we hired this company for the shower refresh. The fact that they are willing to fess up to mistakes and correct them without excuses or red tape is what we needed. At the end of the day, the journey was tough, but we are happy with the product and the repairs done. With that changing rating from a 1 star to a 4. ***Original Post***Not good, with all the patch jobs I have lost confidence in the quality of work. FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Corpus Christi, TX

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
