A week later, the president (Tom) of the company came out with his daughter, they took pictures, and agreed about the gaps between each slab, and said he would have someone else come out next week to take a look. 6/10/2024, a superintendent of the company came out with Tom, and the superintendent wanted to argue the fact that the reason the gaps are between the slabs is because they do shrink; however, when they put the fence up with gaps we were told that the wood would expand and close. When I raised concerns, instead of accountability, I received excuses and blame-shifting. In one message he wrote: ?I am not a laborer hired off Angi ? I am a professional contractor and expect to be treated with respect.? Yet his behavior shows no respect for the client, the contract, or the warranty he signed. He stopped responding to texts, has never come back to inspect or correct his work, and clearly has no intention of honoring his obligations. I have dozens of photos documenting the poor workmanship and early stain failure. If you value your home, your time, and your money, avoid Porterhouse Construction at all costs."
