"Doolittle is one of the contractors supplied by Menards and I called several on their list to have a large ceiling fan installed - a great room, about 15 feet up. Another vendor quoted $250 for a 10' ceiling (which I would have done myself) and $350 for the extra 5 feet. Doolittle quoted $89 service call plus $40 for each 15 minutes - about an hour estimated, so about $250 for the total job. The job was completed in a flash and the total bill was $169. Workers (forgot their names!) were very professional and communicated with me the whole way. They took care to protect my wood flooring and assembled the fan (and extending rod) in crazy fast time. I highly recommend Doolittle as my experience was nothing short of extremely satisfying!"

Unlike the fly by night contractors that typically do this approach, Denise was very friendly, had a logo shirt and truck and was very professional. They helped us with our insurance adjuster to pay for a good portion of the new roof when I didn't even realize it was a possibility. They offered great communication which to me is key. Everything was accomplished in a timely and professional manner. Our new roof looks great and definitely improved our curb appeal. Will use for future projects, and I even have a few in mind."

Some companies have changed names several times in just the last several years. We have continued the tradition of offering quality products at a fair price. \n\nOne of the best ways to maintain quality control is to use full time employees to install your windows, doors, and siding projects. We don’t use subcontractors. The problem with many subcontractors and other companies’ employees is how they are paid. They are usually paid by the job. If there is a problem and they take the time to work through it, their pay is cut. We don't pay our people on a piecework basis. We know it is a bad way to keep quality work. We know because we have been working with homeowners since 1946.
