"We wanted a 10' x 20' patio installed but were not sure what materials to use. The area needed leveling and there was a slope to contend with. Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. The workmanship is second to none. Patio is perfectly level, drainage is exceptional, and the flagstone is beautifully placed. We are so fortunate to have found Tecton Stoneworks on Angi. "Excellently is how the project went. The original 1957 jankety looking step units, sunk and settled crooked in relationship to the house, ended up being a solid as granite. Chris Roberts's team was not slowed down. They had both out and rubble removed by mid-day. Drawings were provided to the team for the new step design and orientation. The forms were built exactly as described and concrete poured by end of the day. The next morning they were out to remove forms and float an exterior coat. Aesthetically speaking the entire project is way beyond imagined. Over the years various sections of sidewalk, concrete decking, and a pool equipment pad had been poured adjacent to the other set of stairs leading up to a backdoor no longer in use. Needless to say there was three different heights of concrete at the intersection where they were to pour. Somehow Chris's team was able to tie everything together making it look like it had always been."

First, the owner, Brandon, gave us an honest and reasonable bid for our large backyard patio/courtyard project that was less than half that of an equitable competitor, but included even more work! Even as the project progressed, and unforeseen details came up, the price remained the same, and each issue was resolved to our satisfaction. Outstanding value! Quick and Reliable! We had 1600 sqft of paving done, with retention steps, a sitting wall, cobbled paths, and a significant lighting package. Brandon and his team showed up on time, on the scheduled day, and worked non-stop for 5 days. There was always a supervisor on site, and Brandon or his supervisor communicated with me every day. Everyone on the team was a pro, and worked at a very quick pace. The work was started and completed exactly on schedule. Quality. They know their stuff, and from start to finish, our project was done right. From installing electrical, moving irrigation lines, burying and re-routing drainage lines, to ensuring level and grade, their work was done properly, without cutting corners. This work will last. Finally, the results were gorgeous! It turned out looking even better than we imagined. They expertly matched our stone, and even made suggestions along the way that improved the original design. We could not be happier with their work, and will be using them to do my mother-in-law’s house as well. I will recommend them to everyone I know."
