"Extremely professional service. I was given a flat rate. Three guys came the day of my move and had everything wrapped and loaded in 40 minutes. Once at the new location they stayed until I was satisfied with where all the furniture was placed. Everyone was friendly and professional. But Maxwell who scheduoed and priced my move called and asked me if I could change my appointment time from 9am to 1-3pm cause another job needed 4 trucks instead of 2. I agreed to help them out. I left things behind because of these circumstances I have to go back now to get them from my neighbor. $25 Just in tolls! "The efforts of the movers who packed up my home went well; After speaking to Eli, I opted for the services that grouped my items for an interstate move, that stated items would arrive between 8-10 business days of the earliest move in date; after giving the date, it required several calls to coordinate the actual day. The second set of movers arrived at the appointed time then angled for a tip stating that there was an elevator charge of $300 (would it have been better to use the stairs to a 4th floor apt). Two small incidents with the move in-2 pieces of furniture were damaged, which I filed with the moving company, 3 months later no word on that claim, and, the movers failed to wash their hands after using my bathroom. Going forward, To have better control over the delivery and quality of work of the move effort, on both ends, I found it easier to coordinate the 3 phases of packing, moving and unpacking on my own; and hopefully I will see the funds from the insurance claim."

"This is a follow up to my original review, after posting my review we were contacted by the moving company to appologize for any misunderstandings we had. They were more than accommodating to fix the differences we had. They refunded the money that was in dispute, they were actually more than fair in this process. I have already recieved the refund check. Once again the services they supplied was excellent and if it wasnt for the differences in the final bill we would be happy to say they did an excellent job moving my daughter. Also a big shout out to Home Advisor for how they stood by both the vendor and us in this issue. After moving my daughter once before my wife was very specific about what, where and how this move was to be. The total move was 20 blocks in Manhattan. It was a bedroom a sofa and a 40-inch flat screen TV. When my wife worked out all the arrangements, she received a *binding* bill. We are not moving experts but the movers are, so if they estimate a 4-hour move for twenty blocks we thought they would know. While moving my daughter out they left their truck unattended and got a parking ticket. They brought 2 wardrobe boxes and some tape. We had packed all of her kitchenware as well as much of her clothes. We drove to the new location which is where all the fun started. After bringing up some of the boxes and pieces they presented my wife with a revised bill that was almost double the price quoted in our binding estimate, at this point we were still in the 4-hour range but it seems tape is very expensive. After arguing for over an hour we gave in to a price that was hundreds of dollars over our binding price. If you dont agree then you dont get your furniture. This was an extremely unprofessional interaction. On top of which we never signed to be responsible for their parking ticket which they wanted on top of the new overcharged bill. We looked up NY state law which clearly states the moving company is solely responsible for their tickets, not us. This only made me question everything else they said. Against my wishes my wife still tipped the workers for their efforts, they were courteous and as helpful as their company allowed them to be. I will say if we didnt have all this nonsense about the revised billing their tip would have been much better."
