"Couldn't get a recessed light to work and didn't know what a switch did in the living room as we recently purchased our home. ACA was polite, prompt, and courteous, and professional in all of their electrical endeavors. Within an hour, they had my two lamps in seperate parts of the room wired to the mystery switch, and had the recessed light back up and running (after a foray into the crawl space upstairs)"

"I hired GINA ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE to: 1) Install an outdoor outlet 2) Replace an existing outlet on the side of my house. Sal and another technician came to my house and before they started, I made a point to say that I have in-ground sprinklers and to please be careful, you can guess to where this will lead. The work was done and they did a great job, but in the process of digging the trench for the outdoor power line leading to the outlet, two different sprinkler pipes were hit. One was kinked and the other was cut and there is water that is slowly dripping out. The gentleman who was doing the work told me what happened and he shut off the water at the sprinkler control box. He apologized repeatedly and I told him I wasn’t angry at him. Hey things happen but I expected GINA ELECTRICAL to bear some sort of responsibility. I called their office and spoke to a woman named Annmarie. She was fairly rude and insulting. She stated multiple times that they can’t possibly see through the ground to know when’re the pipes are. I was super nice to her. I told her that I wasn’t looking to start a fight and I just wanted to discuss what can be done. Here’s the Insulting part, she then says to me “what do you want? You want money!?” That statement was uncalled for. It just came off crass. I told her that I did think that some sort of compensation was due. Then she spoke to the technician who did the work and then I spoke to Sal. Sal told me the same thing about not being able to know where the pipes are under the ground. But Sal has a much nicer demeanor. I'm not writing this review to see this company burn to the ground. They did good quality work and the outlets look great and function. But to absolve themselves from any wrongdoing doesn’t really sit well with me. Not only am I now left with paying to repair the damage myself, but the sprinkler company can’t come out until the beginning of July. So now I can’t water my lawn for at least a couple of weeks. This is just creating a hassle that I didn’t expect at all. I really hope it rains for the next two weeks."

"The first words that come to mind are: professional and pleasant. For the first job, Lucas provided a very reasonable estimate (much lower than another company that we called) . When the job was performed, there were some unforeseen glitches that caused the job to be much more involved than originally thought. He worked through the problems with ease and did not charge us for the extra time it took to complete the job. New panel is great and working well. The second job was much less involved, but still done efficiently and is working great. We are planning to have AVA back to install lighting in our living room. AVA has proven to be reliable, responsive and reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them for any electrical repairs or installations."

He did a great job with the installation and charged a very fair price."

"Jay and the LI Decking guys just finished up my new outdoor living space. He created a huge outdoor space to cook and entertain including an outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, fridge, side burners, my home made smoker and the gem of the project a pizza oven. The paver patio is 55' x 20'. His work is terrific with great attention to detail, his craftsmen are very talented and respectful. The project came in right in budget and Jay was instrumental to help pick pavers and stone face to match our house and yard. Cannot reccomend them enough and look forward to many years of enjoyment. "I had the good fortune of meeting Gregg from Firefly Landscape Lighting several weeks ago. He is a teacher who loves spending time outdoors when not at school. I had Kicher outdoor lights installed last year. From the first day, I had issues with lights being lighter and darker than each other and others going out completely. Gregg met me at exactly 7am as promised so I could leave for work on time. He was able to tell me within several minutes what was wrong with the system and what he needed to do to get it working. Gregg seemed very honest and knowledgeable and gave me what seemed to be a fair price for the work that needed to be done. I agreed to have him fix the system that day. I left for work and he called me several hours later that the system was fixed and it was. I am only sorry that I did not know Gregg at the beginning of the project so that he could have helped with design, fixture selection and installation. I am sure it would have come out much better."

"Melichar's electrician texted in advance of arriving on time to repair a partially broken bathroom fixture installed by another contractor.  He said he would order the part to repair it.  Several days later Mr. Melichar phoned me to say that parts were not available- we could either order a new light or install parts from another light.  The latter would run up labor costs.  I decided on a new fixture.  He gave me an excellent price and installed it within a week.  The electricians were punctual leaving the bathroom spotless.  Excellent and very professional. <br />"
