"Got the job done after another handyman failed We had a 100” TV that a previous handyman booked through the platform couldn’t install — he actually caused damage to our wall in the process. We were frustrated and hesitant to try again, but [Handyman Name] came out and got it mounted perfectly. He was professional, took the time to assess the wall and the weight of the TV, and made sure everything was level and secure. It’s clear he knew exactly what he was doing. If you have a big, heavy TV that needs to go up right the first time, this is your guy. Highly recommend. "

"I have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this company. I paid $650 for a permit back in September, yet the permit was not actually submitted until December 18. During that time, I was falsely told I needed to pay an additional $133 city fee. I later created my own city account and confirmed that the only fee ever paid on the permit was $133, proving that information was incorrect. I was also told I needed to sign an affidavit for the permit. I signed it and left it with them, but they never submitted it to the city, forcing me to go myself and pay another $134 out of pocket just to move things forward. On top of that, I gave them a $3,000 rush check for fence materials, yet the permit still was not in place. Recently, they told me they would be coming to dig the fence holes after I clearly explained that a city inspector was scheduled to meet me on-site to sign off on the permit and inspect the holes. I arrived to find that no holes were done, leaving me"

"Excellent. Dave came out to give us an estimate and described our situation as a "hot mess". He spent a lot of time going over what needed to be done. He called his crew chief to discuss the job and sent me a work order later that day describing the job."

"****BUYER BEWARE***** A picture is worth a thousand words. Dead sod 4-6 weeks after installation. Watered nearly every day first 30 days as instructed. Cost: $1200+. Called after five weeks to make William Soils & Sod aware that the sod they delivered approx 5 weeks prior was 50% dead. Spoke with Nick who said he’d visit my house to take a look at my sod to attempt to help resolve this problem. More than a week passed, but no word from WS&S. Two return calls, left a message with a woman who picked up(name?), but still no reply or remedy, or recommendation. Update: 8/26/24. Was able to reach Nick by phone. He claimed to have stopped by my house since my earlier call a few weeks ago, and took a sample of my sod. He concluded fungus from too much water over last 1.5 months and sod could not be saved. I must pay to have sod removed to get back to where I was when I first chose WS&S over their competition. He apologized that he could not do anything to solve my new sod problem—in other words he would not guaranty that the sod he sold me would live past 5-6 weeks. Thank you for the $1200, your tough luck… “nothing I can do.” What is the guaranty on sod. 1 day? 1 week? 4-5 weeks? Must be nice to run a business that is allowed to collect more than a thousand dollars of a customer’s hard earned money, sell a product that dies after care instructions are followed, and offer no guaranty or solution to resolve. My lawn and finances were in better shape before I trusted WS&S with my business."
