"The patio was poured Thursday afternoon and the driveway was poured today. To say they were quick would be an understatement! Especially in this high heat and humidity. In my youth I did concrete work for a general contractor, and this kind of work is very, very hard work and they made it look easy! We had Indianapolis Concrete put in a 24' x 88' driveway and a 16' x 18' patio. They did a great job!!"

"Soto's Concrete does professional new work and repair work at affordable prices. They have the expertise in knowing how to fix areas that may cause a lawsuit if someone is hurt due to uneven sidewalks and stairs, too. They are meticulous and clean up after themselves."

"We purchased our home 5 years ago and were originally relieved that the previously owner had replaced a crumbling clay sewer pipe in the yard with new PVC. Unfortunately, she hired a general contractor who completely screwed up the job and would not take responsibility for repairing it. Permits were on file, but it was not up to code (e.g., pipe lacked tracer line). The line had a belly in it and the sewer backed up into our basement laundry room repeatedly. Yuck. We had two companies out and were told that the only way to fix it would be to spend $25,000 to replace the line from the house to the street. We balked at the price and were unconvinced it was necessary to replace the entire line based on what we could see in any one of the 6 times the cameras were snaked through. However, after spending $5000 over 5 years to rebuild the retaining wall destroyed by the original inept contractor (who did an equally poor job putting back the original wall), regularly jetting out the sewer line at $250 a pop several times a year, and dealing with multiple back-ups, we called several companies to get an estimate for repairs. <br /> We decided to go with Augusta after talking to three companies. I was incredibly impressed with the thought, energy, and creativity that Steve put  into solving our sewer problems. He brought in a plumber, and together they crafted an elegant plan to relocate where the sewer line exited the house. This saved us $1000s, because the original line exited under our concrete porch and retaining wall. (Digging it up would have likely have cracked the porch and required us to rebuild the retaining wall again.) The upstairs sewer lines were re-routed and a sewer pump/grinder was installed in the basement that feeds into the new exit line. A new sewer line was installed in the yard with the appropriate amount of drop to carry the waste water to the existing pipe at the edge of the yard, where ample drop allows it to flow into the city sewer. The crew who did the job were polite, friendly, and professional. They cleaned-up the basement area (where they had to jackhammer out concrete to place the pump) and did their best to re-level the yard. They came back out to deal with a minor problem that developed following the work and paid for the repair. I am completely impressed with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of sewer work.  <br /> <br />"

"Process works! Several rainfalls later and basement wall is dry. A couple of the rains were very heavy and hairline crack would have allowed some water to penetrate wall if it had not been repaired by Scott and the process he uses. Highly recommend Scott and his process for repairing hairline cracks in basement wall foundation."

"Don Mattingly was terrific in working with us on what we were doing as well as providing us with an acceptable estimate. Coordinator David Ramos was exceptional in updating our plan and working with his construction team. The construction team is incredible. They built our driveway as if it were their own. They worked together as if they were family. One, after a little instruction, encouraged me to smooth part of the driveway. Another said to me that they create art in what they do. The finished product was artwork. After two ten hour days, they removed the old driveway and installed the new. We are extremely pleased and would highly recommend Mattingly if you want concrete work done."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Lebanon, IN

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
