I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. "Had a 5 foot long crack in my poured-concrete basement wall. It was not leaking, but I wanted to have it sealed regardless. Alek came on a Saturday, gave me his estimate, and then repaired the wall. He was very forthcoming by explaining that the repair was not absolutely necessary if there was no leakage, but I wanted it sealed anyway. He did a top rate job and I would not hesitate to use his services again."

"I did a competition on replacing our basement door, reviewing both the solution for a Signet Door and including price installed. After reviewing several solutions from several top rated companies, we decided that On the Level Contracting (OTL) (Peter Psihas) had the best solution for the outside trim with a 12 9/16” Frame Depth. I than went to the 3 lowest bidders (including OTL) with the final configuration to ensure everyone was bidding on the same configuration. After receiving the 3 final bids from top rated companies, OTL had the lowest price. After Peter ordered the door from ProVia, Peter provided me the estimated date he would be receiving the door from Provia. When the door was received Peter notified me and worked with me to schedule the installation date based upon our availability. The installation team from OTL arrived in the schedule time, verified they had the correct door prior to starting the work and did an excellent job installing the replacement door. Peter can to our house prior to the job being completed to ensure I was satisfied and went over the warranty information. Prior to signing the final contract, I talked to Peter about providing the Aluminum and replacing the Aluminum Capping to the side of the garage door that was dented. Peter and his father (George) replaced the capping matching the bends exactly to the top and the other side. I highly recommend using OTL.!!!"

"<p>It was pretty good, not an A experience -- but a B.  The price was very good and the work was acceptable.  They were not super professional -- some late projects.  Something was backordered, a subcontractor didn't show, the assistant wasn't working out -- so the projects took longer than initially planned.  And in terms of quality they were pretty good.  The dormers that were wrapped in aluminum look great.  The concrete work was excellent.   The plumbing and electrical work were great.  The interior paint was pretty good - it was also a great price so no complaints.  A shutter they secured fell off.  And the gutter detached -- but they repaired it. The shingles they replaced when they put the new rake board on fell off -- on both sides of the house.  They didn't think it was related, but the shingles were fine for 15+ years before they removed them and tacked them back down.  So we disagree on this point.  I should have brought it their attention earlier.  Overall, they did a lot of very good work at an excellent price.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p>"

"I used Apex to fix a situation where water would leak into my basement through the electrical panel during a long, heavy downpour. It was a particularly unique and difficult problem to solve which involved excavating under part of a flagstone patio, determining the source(s) of the leak and sealing. Their final solution was very thorough and attacked the problem from multiple directions. I was impressed with their dedication to doing the job right. The clean-up was also thorough (the patio looked better after they left than before they started!) The crew was great! They worked hard and knew what they were doing. Since it was such a tricky problem, Lou, the manager, was on-site for most of the day. They also have an excellent electrician on the team which was a definite plus for this project. I used Apex a couple of years ago to renovate the basement and was very pleased with the result of that project as well. They’ve been in the business for many years and are deservedly proud of their reputation for quality work. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."

I purchased a coupon deal through Angie’s List from this company to have my roof inspected since more than 20 years have passed since it had been replaced. The MacKays arrived promptly as stated when we made the appointment. The employees were very professional, my roof was inspected, and I was shown pictures of my roof with an explanation of its condition. Since my roof did not need to be replaced, I advised my MacKay that I would call him to replace my roof when that time came. I was very satisfied with the services provided by this company."
