"We hired Lance for a small tile job and kept him employed for over a calendar year. He is a perfectionist in every project we ever gave him to do. He is incredible at tile work, Sheetrock, mud, taping, lath and plaster repair, texturing, framing, flooring, millwork, concrete… the only thing he didn’t tackle for us was electrical and plumbing. He cleans up after himself, puts tools away, and leaves the space put back together. I kept him employed for so long and kept giving him work because he did such good work. He has become a friend to me and my family. I wish that I had unlimited money to keep him working all the time."

"Lucky Acres personnel were responsive, timely, and provided excellent value for the money. The gate they designed, built, and installed for us exceeds our expectations. We highly recommend them, and will use them again if need arises. <br />"

"Install went nice and smooth. It didn't take long to get the fence built at all. It took longer than they anticipated because of the rocky ground, but I had warned them about that. It turned out okay, but not great. Some of the details/finishing touches aren't there. They cracked over 25 pickets on install and didn't replace them with good ones, even after being asked too. I had to fix the gates so that they worked correctly - the wood got wet and expanded and then the gates didn't work right anymore. I had to cut and custom fit some pickets to plug some holes around the concrete wall. I am still thinking that I might change how they connected the fence to the house, it just doesn't look right. Fence is still nice and strong and hasn't fallen over yet at 8 months."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Lewiston, ID

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
