"Scott from After Dark Lighting came and did a full review on our 2 acres of landscaping for adding functional and decorative lighting around our pool area and in front of the house to highlight our home at night.  We had asked other landscapers who claimed to be able to do this but were not given too many choices or references.  He has many examples of work he has done.  The examples gave us ideas of things we could do to our yard. <br /> Scott's proposal was super detailed and provided us with exactly what we wanted.  He suggested areas that we might want to have a focus on and changed his proposal to accommodate what we felt was a better use of our budget.  While we had a relatively large budget, we were still conscious of how much we were spending and where to put the resources.  Scott is as professional and courteous as he is creative. <br /> The crew has been terrific as well.  They are very professional and have taken their time to get it right. <br /> We have highlighted trees, the house, the pool area and added lighting to a fire pit area. <br /> Our property looks like a country club.  It is awesome!  We love it and highly recommend After Dark. <br />"

"He did an excellent job. Not only did he prune the trees, but he also pruned my bushes and raked all the leaves that have fallen so far. He also gave me advice on how to save a maple tree that is infected with bugs. The other tree service said to pull the tree out."

"I was very impressed with the service. I am a photography student so I work with a lot of heavy weight programs and very large files. I also do a ton of research along with my school work. After one year of using my brand new laptop for school, I had NO space left on my computer, it was crashing constantly, files were corrupting, and of course, everything was taking forever to load. "Not well. When I called to schedule a time for the service, I was clear on what we needed done. An outlet on a bedroom wall for <br /> a small TV.  Also, we wanted to have a hanging light fixture moved approximately a foot and a half so the light fixture would be more centered in the room. I explained that we needed the tv mounted and that the ceilings in our home are 13 feet tall therefore a tall ladder would be required. The first appointment we were no showed. I called and was told there was a death in the family and we rescheduled. I was not home when the eletririan arrived but according to my husband the gentleman told my husband he "doesn't mount TVs. I'm an electrian." He did not have a tall enough ladder with him to reach the light outlet.  He left. I called again to inquire why nothing was done. The man who answered the phone was obviously irritated  with me. I repeated his ad to me. It clearly stated that they DID hang wall mounted TVs. Long story short the first gentleman returned at a later date, installed the outlet , hung the tv. He couldn't move the wiring to move the light fixture so he swagged the light fixture which was fine however a handyman could have done that. I would have to say my issue is attitude. We understand emergencies and sympathize with their loss. But the rest of it including the bad attitude on there part was unproffesioal..I am not an electrician and don't know what is required to not only do the job but if the job could be done. I understand that this is a small business which i would rather hire then a big one.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We tried getting few quotes from different landscaping company and had hard time getting commitments on their calendar for over a year until we found Michael from Habiscapes. He was very professional, knowledgeable, organized, trustworthy and easy to work with. [*** Link removed ***] After reviewing the landscaping design in September, we got on his calendar for first week in June and he was spot on to start the work as planned. Michael gave excellent design suggestions to work on our project with native plants, habitat, steep slope design and keeping the budget in mind. Michael’s entire crew was very professional starting with his team supervisor James and rest of the crew Taylor and couple other guys, Who all did an extraordinary job. They all were always sharp on time in the morning at 8:30 am and packed up sharp at 4:30 pm giving us heads-up on the work planned for the next days and where we were on the schedule. This helped me and my husband plan our work schedules etc. They all worked hard moving huge boulders from the front to the back slopes, setting large few feet wide stepping stone slabs steps carefully so they do not damaged out front driveway. They did complete sprinkler work and setup vegetable beds. They completed our project as planned and updating us as they went where the sprinklers were and how to maintain the new landscaping for long term. They left our property and our neighborhood clean without leaving any mess. Couple of our neighbors were also impressed and already have started to work with Michael on their landscaping projects. Writing reviews is not my thing, but this crew were fabulous and deserve highest recommendation that anyone would be looking in a great landscaping company. I am already planning to work with them on my back patio paver project next. Thank you Michael and crew!!"

"Alan did a fantastic job. Not only was the work great quality, but he was prompt, inexpensive, flexible, and easy to work with. In addition, he recommended practical solutions and the basement was a huge selling point when we sold the house. He pointed out that we probably needed a light in the stairway because it would be dark when it was finished.
