(This was super important with dogs that are used to using backyard to do their business.) Today was the final day of cleanup, power washing and sealing the concrete. "Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting repaired a very large crack in my concrete front porch steps and a stoop at the back door. All phases of the job went very well—here is a summary. All initial and follow-up calls were answered by a very pleasant receptionist who scheduled the initial assessment and quote by Bill. Bill promptly arrived at the property at the setup time where I described the repairs we sought. Bill understood that the house was part of an estate and that we sought only to do necessary repairs. He promptly provided a quote and optioned different repairs for our evaluation. On the day of the repair, I was texted that the work crew was on the way to the job site. The two gentlemen on the work crew kept me informed while the work was being done and cheerfully answered any questions I had. They finished the job in roughly four hours on a very humid day and cleaned up the job site at completion. I was very pleased with the work that was done, the cost, and the communication with Ken-Rich over the entire cycle of the job. "I received 3 estimates for filling the crawlspace with concrete and sealing the perimeter walls with a barrier to keep rodents (field mice) out and the warmth in. Their estimate was in the middle of the pack and after some online research I decided to use them for my project. They fit me in to their schedule and their crew of 4 showed up on time led by Willie. He and his crew were professional and helpful since we didn't know what to expect. They put down protective tarps and began the process. They were in at 8:30 a.m. and out by 1 pm. Fast, efficient and very good. I watched them in the crawl as they prepped the basement, after leveling and pouring in red lava rocks they poured the cement and made it perfectly smooth using a hand trowel to complete the first phase of this job. They quickly removed all debris and when they left for the day the interior of our home was just as clean as when they entered. The second phase of the job is to be completed in 2 weeks when they return to add a wire mesh and apply a 2" layer of closed cell SPF to the walls to seal the crawlspace off from the outside world. "Jim knows what he is doing and is very resourceful/creative at solving difficult problems.  He has been updating my 45 year old home since last summer.  If you expect a rigid 9a - 5p schedule, that may be difficult due to his purchasing of supplies, crew scheduling, and so on, but he will be there and do what needs to be done to get the job completed well.  Jim does not have a problem with fix-it/touch-up issues which may arise after the big job is done.  I recommend Jim highly and have other future projects, which he will be doing  as well.  In addition, Jim has replaced a outdoor basement window-well, custom built shelving/garden station in the garage, power washed the house exterior . . . the list is long! <br />"
