After discussion, he agreed to stop by the very next day. Upon arrival and after examining the door he found I had purchased the wrong parts. He fully explained what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. He visited a local store and purchased the correct parts. Despite spending twice as much time doing the repair he stuck with the original price quoted. I learned Del is actually a general contractor and does remodels and virtually any job inside the house. We will definitely be calling him back for future work. One last point: Del's price (including parts) was one sixth of prices quoted by others.
