Because I had both fencing and decking work done, I was able to obtain a discount on the whole package, which was nice, and made Carl's the low bidder . The fence installers were very courteous and neat. They had to work around some adverse weather conditions (heavy rains), but finished the job in one day. The only issue was that the door closers on the deck did not work properly, and it took Carl's a couple weeks to get back to replace the closers. Overall, a nice job. The deck installers were very meticulous. I spent a lot of time watching them. They absolutely made sure everything was level. If it wasn't, they would rip out the boards and redo them. The finished product is outstanding. Everything was cleaned up by the installers before they left. We are very happy with both decks. There were some issues with the township inspections, but my township is known for being very particular and somewhat arbitrary. Carl's worked through all the issues."
