"Manny and his crew did our home's siding (removal and replacement), new gutters, overhang, front and side door trim and door, repaired our deck, built us wooden stairs and established a drainage pipe under our lawn to catch our gutter water and sump pump water, plus a few other odd jobs and we are happy with every single one of them! He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. It was a fair price for work well done, the crew was courteous and hardworking, and they cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely recommend MJA to anyone considering inside or outside renovation or repairs; they're honest and give a fair price and will go through things step by step with you which nearly impossible to find and a real treasure once you do."

"Acorn Home Improvements,Inc. did work on my elderly mother's home. The house needed new windows. The old ones were drafty and were hard to open. In addition to replacing the windows, we decided to have additional insulation installed in the attic. Both crews, one for the windows and the other for the insulation, were professional, polite, on time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that was accommodating and completed the work as agreed upon. Mom and I found their pricing was very reasonable. Since I live out of state, I was not able to be there for the entire process so it's comforting to know that there are companies that are honest and reliable. When the project was completed mom was thrilled with her new windows and how easy they were to open and close. Further more with the proper insulation, mom found that her utility bills have decreased which is an added bonus for someone on a fixed income. "I had an idea of what I wanted, Brian Koos spent over an hour working with me going over various designs and options. While their pricing was in the area of what i expected I did not sign the contract that day. Brian was not pushy at all and understood. I did get 2 other estimates that were much higher. When I was ready I called Brian and had changed the color of the decking. He revised the quote and I signed the contract. Work was complete 10 days later. There was a small qlitch, the workers made the deck the same size as the original porch but it was supposed to be larger to cover some imperfections in the patio. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until they finished. Marc Cerami had come by during and just as they finished and immediately remedied the situation. He offered to re-do the deck in the correct size or they could an add a board to the bottom step which would extend the deck. They came back the next day and added another board. It covered the imperfections and actually looked better than the original design. I would definately work with Carls again on another project."
