Small jobs welcome

"We needed a walk way widened. These guys took out the old regraded and poured the new walk in. Got it done very quick and it looks great. They cleaned up very nicely and raked the yard out when they were finished. I will have them back for more work in the future."

"As previous reviewers have pointed out, Mario is up for most any job.  This was my primary reason for selecting him when I needed a variety of work done last month.  I was re-arranging my garage by disposing of some permanently installed cabinets, buying a steel shelf to replace them, moving other shelves and appliances around, and installing bike hangers.  I also needed all this junk plus a large sofa hauled to the local dump.  Mario met me at a local store to pick up the new shelves.  He took care of it all and also repaired the drywall in my bathroom skylight (which he noticed while he was working here).  I had him come out again later to clean all my windows and he did an excellent job (and worked around my schedule when I got off from work).  He re-routed a downspout for me to make it flow around a pad I had put in for our garbage cans and did a great job on that as well.  He definitely is the man to call when you have lots of jobs that need a variety of skills or just someone with a good work attitude. <br />"

"Frank was prompt, efficient, and nice to talk with. He was able to schedule the appointment with me for the morning after I called him. He completed all projects very well and is clearly a skilled handyman. The bed frame in particular was a lot of work, and he did an excellent job. I was glad I contacted him, and I highly recommend him."

"We live in an older home with a Cedar Shake roof.  After a few decades the roof needed to be replace.  Our HOA is very defined in the materials that we could use for a new roof.  Stone Coated Steel, Architectural Asphalt, Tile and one other.  We looked at and received bids for all the various types of roofing material. <br /> We choose the Stone Coated Steel for the look, consumer rating and underwriters ratings (class 4 for fire, hail and wind).  We choose Horn Brothers based on referrals from friends and neighbors.   <br /> The sales, installation, service and followup were amazing!  My wife and I can easily recommend Horn Brothers.  Great People, Great Service. <br /> Mark M, Centennial, CO <br />"

"The office staff was responsive and quick to action; communication with the grounds crew could be heightened. I had the siding of my home removed as well as a deck. A service probably not typically offered and I was thankful that it was done. Communication with me would have made the surprise that my deck and siding was going to be taken (disposed of) to my neighbor on my west side. I don't mind and now sentimentally see the recycled siding on their cabin. It would have been nice to know though. There was an issue when during the process an electrical line was punctured and an appliance (stove) was without electricity, the office staff responded quickly and repairs were made. This was (what I would assume) an offseason application, Oct-Dec., I had contracted for the foundation to be done and waited for completion (December) (all the attachable items, outside electrical box, outside wiring that need to be attached was still hanging off the structure), a bill arrived for payment. I called and there was an immediate response and work began on the foundation. Half of the foundation was complete and I was called for payment and expressed that there was a whole section not done, it was expressed that the foreman had been told I said it wasn't supposed to be done, I hadn't been asked or talked to by anyone. During this, the crew that had half done the foundation during the fall time had hooked up their hose to the outside water faucet to fill water buckets (this sit for some time until I called asking what the status was), and at the same time turned on my water to my already winterized swamp cooler without my knowledge and never shut it off. The result was an early morning surprise for me when I randomly went to the back of my home and saw that my swamp cooler line was spraying a mist of water, had burst and I had six inched of ice on my roof and icicles off the roof. My neighbors were calling to make sure I knew. I called and they were very responsive, they came that day and removed the ice from the roof and side of home. Unfortunately, in doing so, we have the already broken line from the swamp cooler to the faucet, they damaged the faucet attachment to the swamp cooler line, damaged my back door from removing the ice and didn't offer to fix either the back door, hookup to the faucet or the line to swamp cooler. (yeah, this comes back since its springtime now and I am looking at it), the bad taste was when I received a call about the ice clean up and was told it looked like I had already had problems there, grrrr. I didn't even run my swamp cooler the year before and had winterized it previously. Anyway. The job was finally completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Quality Stucco West, not because there are communication errors, lack of inspection of work being done, and no communication from the field for mistakes made etc. The repairs do erk me though…. I would recommend them for the Quality of work that was done, when it was completed, the responsiveness of the staff and timely initiative that was taken when a problem was presented. I appreciated the extra work that was done with the deck and siding but would have liked some communication. To reaffirm my recommendation, I have referred two other friends/coworkers to Quality Stucco West. You’re going to need to be observant. (house photo is upside down and I can't fix)"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Parachute, CO

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
