"The team did a great job. $2300 for an 8" 12' x 12' concrete slab for a hot tub. It felt a "little" expensive to me, but seeing the amount of work that was involved, I was happy to have it done professionally. The finished job looks great. They used rebar mesh and fiber reinforced concrete formulated for the climate. They added an nice brushed finish for good traction. We ended up getting a good discount on the hot tub, so the entire project still came in under budget."

"Stephen Benson (owner) was very professional and well-versed in his trade.  He answered all questions at time of bid and was responsive to all concerns throughout  the job task.  His team was prompt and well-organized.  The job was complicated by a significant bout of cold weather in which the temperature dropped below freezing overnight and into the initial hours of the work day.  This prohibited the pouring of concrete on the planned day and delayed the pouring (and time for concrete to set) on the following day.  The late start forced completion of the stamping well past dark and into the early evening.  Lights from the team's Bobcat and portable lights that I set up helped to illuminate the work area, but was less than optimal.  Despite the challenge, the team remained diligent to task throughout the day.  Reflective blankets were placed over the fresh concrete to protect the surface from the overnight freeze.  The blankets, however, could have been secured better since they blew off due to wind that arrived with another weather front overnight.  Concrete sealing was also delayed due to weather.  Once applied though, the results were quite good.  The team did a good job of cleaning up and power washing where needed to return the surrounding structures and landscaping to an acceptable state.  It was a very good job completed under difficult conditions."

"May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."
