"To be honest I have been considering how to provide a recommendation now for a few weeks as this has been one of the most incredibly pleasant and rewarding experiences we have had with a contractor in quite some time. I'm sure in the end I'll come up short trying to explain what a great experience this was for us. I'm a manager at a local software development company here in the area and have to say that if my contractors had the same approach as Don did with projects, customer service and attention to detail they would not have an issue being incredibly productive and successful. My wife and I found Don and his company Leavings Concrete Company by calling a local Concrete supplier based on a recommendation from someone online. He was our third bid on a job to replace our outdated and falling apart asphalt driveway. At the time I had pressed my wife to get a third estimate. Felt like we didn't have a good feel on value we were getting from the estimates. In retrospect really glad that we ended up getting a third quote! Don was incredibly prompt and professional showing up for his estimate appointment. He was not the cheapest of the three (he was squarely in the middle) but from the outset added on additional items into the project providing even more value such as re-doing our pathway to front of house as well as re-pouring our front stoop. We opted for concrete simply due to how long it would last. The week he started his crews ended up having to work a bit longer the first two days due to weather that was coming. Although he could have waited he opted to get the concrete poured before the rain got here and possibly have an issue with the base under the driveway. I was amazed by how quick and efficient his crews were and also noted that he kept checking in with them. Not that he had to but more just a healthy back and forth on how the project was going. This included discussions on widening the driveway in certain places as well as accounting for proper drainage/etc. In the end the work product was amazing. Windowpanes, a completely redone top to our end of driveway berm. It all looked great. And just like he did throughout the project Don was there at the end inspecting and looking at the finished work product. One advantage of the rain coming in was that we did get a hard shower and were able to see how efficient the drainage was on the driveway. I didn't realize how much asphalt is able to absorb water - concrete is not this way and after the hard rain there were no spots/puddles - everything drained as it should have. Hope this review is helpful to others. It is great to see also that there are people out there like Don that own their own businesses that do a great job and provide impressive customer service throughout. It gives me hope that for other work we have yet to do on our house we can find similar contractors."

Worker were polite, professional, and unobtrusive. Work was completed quickly and the repairs did the trick.
