He was also able to resolve some preexisting poor craftsmanship around a stone window header, and he filled some holes in the brick that had long ago contained some sort of attachments. He was conscientious about matching the new tuck pointing to existing work. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend Paul and his assistant! Price was comparable to another bid. Though, other bidders were reluctant to take on the job as completely as Paul, due to the very narrow spacing of our brick. Paul's solution was to grind out a wider gap for the mortar. Finally, Paul's clean up was great. There was a lot of dust from this job, and Paul was frequently vacuuming and cleaning up. He finished with a hose wash."
