"Sam was prompt, highly skilled, and could not have been more courteous. Repairing the existing mailbox was a temporary solution. As soon as the ground unfreezes, Sam will return and re-site the new mailbox stand and boxes. I'm looking forward to working with him again."

"Kevin was fast, professional, very reasonably priced and did an exceptional job for us. We had some recent high wind damage to our roof and he was able to get to our repair right away so we could avoid any long term weather exposure. I strongly recommend Kevin and will be calling him again in the future!"

"We had a 15x30 ft. in ground pool that had seen better days, and we wanted to reclaim our backyard. My brother owns an excavator, so I removed the pool/concrete with him, but I still had a big hole to fill. Ross Dirtworks did an excellent job hauling in the fill, re-grading the yard, and topping it off with top-soil. They specialize in smaller excavating jobs. They were a lot less than the landscapers I had quote the job. Bill (the owner) was extremely easy to work with. He told me upfront that the finish he left would not be ready for seed, and would need some work with a rake to get it ready. He did a very good job getting it smoothed out, so I only spent about a half-day raking, seeding and mulching to get seed down. The job took a couple days longer to complete due to weather and some other jobs he was working on, but I was not on a time-table, and he understood that. He did make every effort to work with me, so I would just say be clear with what your schedule is."

"Showed up as promised. Extremely polite. Since I live in Virginia and work was performed in NY, they worked with me all the way. Very professional. I will have them do work in the future. They are now working on my Dads house. <br />"

"I wrote some emails, and Jon was the first to respond. He came, said he could do it, and just asked that I cut a trail with my snowblower from the back hatch to the front driveway (which I gladly did). He carefully and without mess got rid of the oil tank from the basement. He has earned my trust, and I have hired him to move us locally. I'll let members know how the move goes, but he has earned the chance. <br />"

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house. My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats. They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house. Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough. It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway. It seemed really fast to me. The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano. We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors. Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house. They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down. A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots. We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement. We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation. While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house. The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision. Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared. Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements. We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement. We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013. It's been a long process, but well worth it. Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"Bill Hayes showed up on time, preformed the work doing a super professional job and stuck to the quote even though the job took a little longer. He left the site clean and in a better condition than when he arrived. Bill Hayes was very experienced and efficiently and expertly operated his equipment in our tight back yard. We recommend him and would hire him back again. He is very talented and good at what he does, we were very lucky we hired him because he knew how to stabilize the bank. We had been looking for someone that knew how to do this but we're not convinced that just a retaining wall would work. Now our house is protected, our bank is stabilized with large boulders, our bank can now become be a beautiful rock garden this summer with plantings in between the puzzled together rocks. Thank you Bill!"
