Small jobs welcome

"We had a concrete patio poured in our backyard so we could finally have a dedicated area for grilling and BBQs, and it turned out great. The crew did excellent work from start to finish ? professional, efficient, and the finished patio looks clean, level, and exactly what we needed. Now I don?t have to grill out in the driveway anymore, and the backyard feels much more usable and enjoyable. It is perfect for cooking out, relaxing, and having family or friends over. I?m very happy with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done."

"This is the best experience my husband and I have ever had with a home improvement contractor and we have worked with many over the years. Darien was personable, punctual and professional. He gave us good advice about how to get what we wanted at a reasonable price. His employees were polite and good workers. Things were done well and on time. The only delay we had was when some materials that were ordered didn't come the day they were supposed to. We would recommend 4D Decks to anyone who wants quality work at a fair price. Darien specializes in decks and he really knows what he's doing! <br /> <br /> Update on 9/2/2014: Problems with Inspection <br /> <br /> It turns out that the city inspector didn't pass the way Darien attached our pergola to our house and has required that Darien make the pergola free-standing before he will allow the construction to pass inspection. Darien has assured us that he will do this without cost to us, but it hasn't taken place as yet. We remain hopeful that it will be resolved soon, before winter weather sets in."

"They did not follow up on the bid. Perhaps they were too embarrassed. <br /> She was really nice, though, but also told us that no one in town does masonry cutting--that to put in an egress window, they have to contract with someone from Omaha. Not true. Our neighbor had a local company (brick and concrete/installers/cutters) do their egress windows and they're from Lincoln. . . . <br />"

"They have been doing fine, and their work looks good so far. They have been a bit intermittent on account of the rain. The main guy has his sick kid at the hospital, so he has been in and out for several days. However, he is doing the job for me now."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Seward, NE

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
