They completed spring cleanup, mulching, laid down a low brick border wall around our vegetable garden just as we asked, and the end result was beautiful. "Pros: 1. Very professional service 2. Impressive clean up efforts 3. Personable and kind technicians Cons: 1. One of the two saplings had a curved bark, but she is healthy, and growing upward. Being the perfectionist that I am, I immediately thought, no way, I want a straight bark. But then I thought, perhaps its the technician that selected the tree - perhaps he was thinking of off loading a tree with a slightly curved bark, and perhaps the client won’t mind. And I say that because a professional landscaper knows customers prefers a symmetrical straight bark. So I decided, instead of rejecting the sapling and sending it off to its potential demise, I decided to keep her and nourish her. Once she becomes a full grown beautiful tree, I’ll always reflect on the story of her arrival to her new home, and how I adopted and embraced her difference in having a curved bark. BTW, I named the tree Bendy 🙂 Therefore, reiterate to your landscaper a straight bark is preferred. "
