"The project appeared to go well in the beginning. On the last day of the work I noticed the floor was not stable at all. When I walked on the bathroom floor it was apparent the base was unstable. The floor mad a creaking noise each time I stepped. At first the contractor said he didn't notice the problem. I also pointed how the grout had cracks. After the Resident Handyman acknowledged the problem. He attempted to repair the problem of the unstable floor but it didn't work. He fixed the grout line and told me to wait for it to dry. Upon waiting for the grout to dry the floor cracked at the same grout joint each time. He returned to the house about three times attempting to fix the problem. I could see the problem was not the grout it was base. Since the base was unstable it didn't matter how much he tried to fix the grout line. On his third attempt the grout line looked as though it was stable and that lasted about 10 months. The grout line has started to crack again in that same spot on the bathroom floor. I reached out to the Handy Man again and said he will have to charge me now since it has been over a year. The job was never done right the first time. That's why I will not recommend this guy to fix anything again."
