"Main Street Oriental Rugs did a great job cleaning our Persian rug. We accidentally dropped a wine glass and splashed red wine all along a white border. Main Street came to the rescue. They picked up the rug the same day that I called, moved a heavy coffee table to get to it, and returned it, clean, as promised 10 days later. They did a deep cleaning and I can honestly say the colors are more vibrant now than when we sent it out. The red spots have vanished and we are very pleased with the outcome. "Our carpet was a HORROR STORY. I'm not going to describe it, but one so-called "extreme carpet cleaning" company estimated, believe it or not, over $1200 to clean two rooms...and declined to even do the work at that price. The guy totally shamed me. Tim from Shamrock Carpeting came in and said, oh, yes, we should be able to help. He charged me a fraction of what the other company had estimated...and he got out a huge amount of the stains and odors. I just had him back for a repeat and it looks even better this time. He's so nice, he's so fast, he's so reasonable. I can't thank him enough. Don't even shop around. Just call Tim. You can't find a better cleaning at a better price. He owns that space!"

"When I made the appointment with Lois in the office, she told me that the stain might not come out completely. I decided to go ahead with the cleaning as the set of six upholstered chairs had not been cleaned in some time. Santos and his associate whose name I didn't catch arrived about 1:30 p.m. (my scheduled window was 12-3p.m.),listened to what had happened and also looked at an kitchen bench that had a few spots on the 100% polyester sueded fabric. They hooked up their cleaning machine to our garage faucet and got right to work after putting down a protective covering on the kitchen floor. The service men worked quickly, efficiently, and neatly. I was amazed that the olive oil stain was barely visible, as they too said that oil was very tricky to get out. The minimum service charge is $160 which is what I paid for cleaning the six kitchen chairs and the bench. It was worth every penny. I have previously used Normandy Carpet to clean my very light wall-to-wall carpet in the master bedroom and on the stairs plus den carpeting several times. They have also previously cleaned three chairs covered in silk fabric. All results have been excellent."
