"We hired Hardscape Plus to cut down a large tree that had split from a storm. The tree was next to a highway that possibly would have fallen into it. Hardscape came out quickly and did an excellent job all the while giving an affordable price! I highly recommend them!"

"Michael Wiegand of Habiscapes is the very best in town. A+++++. Having experienced a nightmare scenario with a previous landscaper, I was in desperate need of a reliable replacement company late in 2017. With winter coming, Habiscapes jumped in, and did a tremendous amount of hardscaping in just 2 weeks. They then returned this spring to complete the project over the last 2 weeks. The project was quite involved, with several retaining walls, a new patio, fire pit, complete water sprinkler system, terracing the land into usable space, and planting the entire yard. Here’s what you need to know about Michael – completely honest, reliable, and fair in pricing. He always explains, in detail, the different options and the cost of each option. He provides a lot of flexibility in working with your budget. He also noticed mistakes made by the predecessor landscape firm and fixed them. His estimates were very accurate, so you don’t have any surprises at the end. His crew are a good group of hard working guys - guys that stick with him, not different guys showing up all the time. I was frankly amazed at how much would be accomplished each day—I would come home from work, and think, “Wow, they did that entire geo-wall in 1 day”. Along the way, Michael communicates with you regularly by phone and by text— he shows up when he says he’ll be there and works on your project until completed. I could not imagine a better experience. Thank you, Michael Wiegand and Habiscapes. Well Done."

"At this point, the paver work has been completed to our immense satisfaction. This included removing an existing exposed aggregate patio, and building a new paver patio with walkways.  (Eventually, we will have lots of stuff done by the same folks and we will try to report on it as it goes along.)   Work was done timely, crew was good to work with, and it was apparent that they were focused on doing the best job that they knew how.  There was a little bit of a timing conflict between Summerco and another contractor we had working on another phase of the project, but we found Summerco acted professional and reasonable all of the time.  The only real minor negative (and this was more my concern than my wife's) was that in early conversations, it didn't always sound that they knew what they were doing, and that everything was new to them.  While this was annoying to me in the early phases, it was clear from the work that they performed that they knew their stuff.  We have already had compliments from other trade people involved on other phases of the project about the quality of the paver work.  We are very pleased. <br /> As near as we could tell from quotes we got from other contractors (which is hard to evaluate, since all of the quotes came in a bit different in format, etc.) Summerco's prices were in line.  However, based on discussions with suppliers and others both in and outside of the area, they seemed a little high.  So, we've concluded that at this phase of the local market, landscaping contractors are a little on the high side.  Not a big problem. <br />"

"When no other company could get the work done for us on such short notice, Scott found a place for us in his schedule.  All aspects of the job went off like clock work.  Large cranes were needed because of the limited access to our pool which is on a hillside - no problem.   I especially appreciate the expertise Scott used in hiring very experienced workers, who showed up, got the job done and moved on.  I mean really - isn't that what we are all looking for - Someone who will do what they said they would do - when they said they would do it - at the price they said they would do it at.  Scott was easy to work with and even negotiated extras on our behalf. "

"Jules (owner of Gisin Landscaping) came over to my home on the same day I asked him for the bid. He was very courteous and professional. Jules quickly took some measurements, discussed different options with me (in an effort to reduce my costs) and promptly presented me with a bid. The bid was lower than any of the others we had received, so I asked Jules how quickly he could perform the work. Two days later my yard had been tilled up and leveled and the sod was in. The work was outstanding and the yard looks great. I would definitely recommend Gisin Landscaping and I will use them again in the future."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Twin Falls, ID

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
