"After providing his estimate to the home owner, she called another plumbing service for the floor drain issue. He came out within a day, found the issue to be that the kitchen pipe was plugged up mostly and this was also making the floor drain clogged with stuff from the kitchen sink. He used a snake and immediately freed the clog from between the kitchen sink pipe and floor drain. After that it drained just fine. And it was only $100 vs $3800+. I emailed DTS afterwards indicating that it was just clogged and no pipes had to be replaced, but he never responded. So I paid for a $69 inspection with a $100 credit toward future repair that I can't use because the inspection was wrong and the home owner wasn't going to have him do the work with the inspection being incorrect. I suppose the $69 I paid is a lot better than if I'd proceeded with his $3800 estimate for a repair that wasn't needed though. Given I know skilled people can make mistakes, even good ones, I'm only making the overall rating as a C."

"Dan Ryan and his crew did an excellent job.  Dan Ryan (owner of the company) came out to look at the house with me and show me samples of shingles.  To help me pick out the right color, Dan Ryan personally drove me around the neighborhood so that I could see how different colors of roofing materials look on different houses.   <br /> The roofing crew arrived on time, early in the morning, and they completed the work in 1 day. My house is from the 1800s and has a lot of weird angles and seams, and they took care of everything just fine.   <br /> Dan Ryan recommended a solar-powered roof ventilation system that his crew installed at the same time as the roof.  With the receipt, I am expecting to receive a tax rebate to cover the cost for that.  My house has vinyl siding, and parts of the siding above various roof levels needed replacing.  Dan Ryan recommended a vinyl siding repair person who was very detail oriented and took care of that quickly and for a very good price. <br /> The crew cleaned up fairly well after the roof replacement. There was a huge pile of roofing material removed, and they took it all away on the same day. There were still quite a bit of small asphalt-type granules on the lawn and patio around the house after the crew left.  When I mentioned this to the owner of the company, he came out and personally vacuumed that area with a dust-vac. <br /> In my experience, Ryan Construction System (RCS) went above and beyond with their customer service and quality of work. <br />"
