"Joe and his crew did an awesome job. We had our blacktop driveway and walkway ripped out and replaced with Cambridge pavers, Stone Harbor and it looks beautiful. They also installed new steps with Stone veneer from Cambridge with ledge stone and a paver walkway and paver patio in the backyard. They were always on time and did all this work very meticulously. "Starkie Brothers was one of our top choices when it came time to rip up our old concrete patio and replace it with pavers. We knew we would get quality work that would be sustainable for years to come. John met with us on several occasions and was patient with us throughout our decision-making when it came down to the design of our project. John had great ideas...he was detailed in his project plans, discussing everything from rip up & removal, drainage, piping, design and layout. John took the time to come to our house on several occasions until every detail was discussed and finalized. He even met us at the supply place to look at our options re: pavers. Our project was broken down into two parts - 1) a rear patio off of our house and 2) a paver patio surrounding a new pool as well as a black top driveway. Part 1 was completed this Fall. John and his crew were at our house every morning as scheduled. They worked diligently to complete the project in 4 days. His crew was very friendly and communicated with us throughout. John kept us updated via text and phone calls, even sending us pictures of the progress throughout the day! He had our kids create a time capsule which he buried for them. The work was neat, organized and all cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of project. We have yet to decide on landscaping but the groundwork has been laid by John for irrigation. Part 2 will be completed in the Spring, giving the area around the new pool install time to settle. Will update review once that part is complete. Pics are before/during/after"

"From the estimate, to the material delivery to when they were to show up all was on time. After they left the only sign that they were here was a great looking patio. Cleaned up the yard and the street. We were quoted a price and in the end that was the price. Made this work easy and we were extremely happy that we chose AA& Son Masonry. "I would recommend Carl Bongiorno & Sons to everyone. This was a very big job that got bigger as we went along. Over 3,000 sq ft of patio pavers done the right way over a steel reinforced concrete base. A fire pit with bench, a spillover spa, a built in outdoor barbecue area, both rear steps, a retaining wall, a gravel side of house parking area, sod and landscape plantings. Throughout the entire process there was constant communication with Carl and his sons Carl Jr and Garret. They battled mother nature and other contractors with true professionalism. Their equipment is top notch and they did a great clean up every day prior to leaving. As with any project with anyone the more you know about what you want and are able to communicate it to them the better they can assist you with the design of your project. Carl Sr has been in business for a long time and it is now a family business that will be around for a long time to come. I highly recommend them and will use them again.
