Marianne Cusato is HomeAdvisor's Housing Expert on topics relating to architecture, design, and homebuilding trends and a Professor of the Practice at University of Notre Dame's School of Architecture. Recently selected by Fortune Magazine as one of the Top Women in Real Estate, Cusato is a designer, author, and lecturer whose work speaks to the ever-changing needs of homeowners striving to balance the practical requirements of economy and durability with the desire to love where we live. Cusato and her work are frequently featured in the media including The New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post and CBS This Morning. She is internationally renowned for her design of the Katrina Cottage, the author of two books: "The Just Right Home" and "Get Your House Right", and a blogger for the Huffington Post.

Matthias Hollwich

Matthias Hollwich, SBA is a registered European Architect who has established himself at the forefront of a new generation of groundbreaking international architects. Matthias believes the key to successful architecture lies in finding new and exciting ways to create dialogue and relationships between people and buildings. He was recently named #54 on Business Insider’s list of 100 business visionaries for 2016, has spoken regularly at events such as TED, PICNIC, and has taught architecture as a visiting Professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Brad Hunter

Chief Economist, HomeAdvisor

Brad Hunter spearheads HomeAdvisor’s analysis and tracking of housing markets and the home improvement industry using proprietary data from HomeAdvisor. In his former position, Mr. Hunter was chief economist and director of consulting for Metrostudy where he orchestrated hundreds of area-specific housing market studies over his 18 years at the firm. He also presented original research and insights to the federal agencies that focused on the housing industry during the depths of the housing crisis. With nearly 30 years of experience in housing market forecasting, Brad Hunter is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and has authored numerous articles and chapters in books for ULI, including Market Profiles. He is regularly cited in local and national journals, and has recently been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News and CNBC. His analysis is also featured in a book called Foreclosure Nation. He graduated in 1985 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics and has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University.

Deborah Pierce

AIA, CAPS, Architect and Author of The Accessible Home

Architectural Access has always been a special focus of Deborah’s work. Starting with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) enactment in 1991, she has designed access upgrades at public buildings throughout the Commonwealth. As national chair of the AIA Advisory Group for Small Project Practitioners, she raised awareness for Universal Design in the home through the Small Project Design Awards program. Her book, The Accessible Home, published by Taunton Press in 2012, has been an Amazon best-seller. Michael Graves FAIA says, in the book’s foreword: "Deborah Pierce tackles the small problems along with the large in her quest to make wonderful places where people with disabilities can live comfortably and safely." Today Deborah’s work is exclusively focused on residential accessibility. Deb is a frequent speaker throughout the country on the why’s and how’s of accessible and universal design.

Daniel DiClerico

Senior Home Editor at Consumer Reports

Daniel DiClerico is the Senior Home Editor at Consumer Reports, where he covers real estate, remodeling and products for the home. His expertise in the home field extends back nearly two decades, and includes stints at This Old House and Martha Stewart Living, prior to his arrival to Consumer Reports in 2007. As a multimedia content specialist, DiClerico’s work appears across all print and digital platforms. He is also a versatile spokesperson, making dozens of television, radio, and podcast appearances each year. Outside of Consumer Reports, DiClerico has written and contributed to numerous books, among them “The Just Right Home” (Workman, 2013), which he co-authored with Marianne Cusato.
