Initially hired to snake/unclog plumbing and when they could not clear the line, the fee was reduced. However, an estimate for sewer lateral replacement was requested and I haven't heard from the company since.

I needed my water heater replaced and Oakland Rooter was at my home within 10 minutes. The replacement heater was installed 3 hours later. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

I recently moved into my home. The work performed by Oakland Rooter included moving stove and refridgerator (changing gas and ice maker plumbing); installing gas for dryer and setting up washer and dryer; installing circulating hot water pipes and pump. They not only quickly performed the work, but they cleaned up afterward and took the time to perfectly balance the washer and dryer on my uneven basement floor so they operated smoothly. They were responsive, efficient, professional, pleasant, and reasonably priced. I plan to hire Oakland Rooter for additional plumbing work at my home.

Excellent follow through. Answered calls promptly. Charge was competive and reasonable. Would highly recommend. My only concern was that after the last call, he asked me to pick up a part and replace it. I could have and can do it, but that's what I hired him to do. Otherwise, he has so far been the best contractor that I have used in this area of expertise.
