Work
"Very professional and communicative; hired to replace my double deck that was burned down from a fire. Worked with me closely and made sure I was always updated and satisfied with the work he was doing! Going to hire again for my other home projects did an amazing job! Even added lights for me that just gave it that extra touch! Turned out better than I could have expected"

"I had custom cabinets designed by the previous owners that were too small for my current washer dryer. For over a year my new washer and dryer it took up over 30 ft.² of my laundry room because they couldnâ t fit underneath the cabinets. I reached out to multiple carpenters and multiple companies who all gave me quotes, but could never come and do the job. I finally found A Touch of Class Remodel and they were able to give me a quote and complete the project within two weeks!! They completed the job while I was at work and when I came back, not only were my washer and dryer underneath the cabinets, but my house was spotless!! They showed up early and communicated every step of the way. They are the kindest people and truly just want to help. I am so happy with the quality of work done in the cost. If you need any kind of house project done, you should definitely go with A Touch Of Class Remodel! They can do general contracting, as well as one off jobs themselves. Frank and his son TJ are a talented pair and a joy to have around your house!"

"I hired Matt to fix some framing that another contractor messed up. I gave him a tight budget and even tighter time frame and he was able to complete it without any problems. Matt is very good at communicating and is as easy to work with as I have seen in the business. I will definitely be hiring him for all my remodels/repairs and would suggest everyone else to do the same."

"Met our demanding expectations. Ryan advised us of what it would take to achieve or goals in terms of time, number of visits, and money. He first cut out the bad all the way to the bones. The layered the framing & insulation to support his art-level dry wall surface and paint. No lines. No Lines. We are very pleased with the results."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
