"Best Home Improvement Project of 2022! We had the great pleasure of working with CBL Construction on our multi-step landscaping project and we are so grateful we did! This project is something we had been thinking about and planning for years – but in spite of speaking with many different landscapers and general contractors, we could never find the right company to work with. Even from the beginning when we were only inquiring about cost estimates, CBL stood out from the crowd due to exceptional communication and fair pricing. We were very impressed and appreciated that Chris took the time to have in-depth conversations about our vision, to ask intuitive questions and carefully explain what he could do for us. Chris was always accommodating when new ideas and directions emerged throughout. He treated us like partners and provided a very clear cost break down. His attention to detail, overall knowledge, and passion for his craft showed throughout the project. Projects: Dig shallow border around inside and outside of front and back yard fence, lay barrier fabric then river rocks; Install landscaping design in front and back yard A major challenge with this project was working with the difficult, rocky soil which included digging numerous holes for new trees and shrubs. The work took more time than expected but CBL was flexible, found ways to improve efficiency, made sound recommendations and always remained committed to a job well done!"

"Our bathroom remodel came out awesome. They did an outstanding job. I like how they paid attention to details and if something wasn't right they re-did it. For example, after installing the shower, we noticed a little scratch. Before we even told them about it, they had seen that and ordered another shower. "I talked to Duffy Construction needing a repair to a major floor beam in my mom's bathroom. She was without a tub after the rip out due to a rotted out floor beam. I called late Friday and they were able to come out on Monday afternoon to access the situation and came in the next morning to repair it. This was also a short week, due to Thanksgiving. They did a great job putting in the new support to the floor. Even the bath tub installers commented on it. My mom now has her new walk in tub thanks to the effort Duffy Construction put out. I would highly recommend them for any repair work."

"These folks are real problem solvers. 130 year old house had lots of rot, dangerous front and back porches, holes that provided homes for birds, wasps and lord knows what else. Now people who walk by stop and gape at the house. It is gorgeous. And, no more water coming down the bedroom wall in a big storm. They did the bluestone patio in back, too."
