"They were on time, which is so appreciated, they removed the bricks from the sink hole and showed me why the area sunk from the original construction years ago. Rerouted what needed to be rerouted, reset all the pavers properly, and cleaned up the entire area as if nothing was touched. I would not hesitate to use them again for any paving needs. They came every day and did the work quickly in blistering heat and humidity. I am very happy with the results."

"Before my long review just know you should use these guys I highly recommend the team at City Suburb! It is about 4 months post project and I am finally getting a chance to write a review. Had my brick front steps and landing completely repaired. The team replaced my broken stone steps, repointed the bricks, and poured a new concrete landing for me. The work was done in 3 days as quoted with the weather cooperating. They made little mess, cleaned while they worked, and cleaned up before they left everyday. Pricing was consistent with other quotes we received but the professionalism was what ultimately made me move forward. I had a digital contract for the work outlining the job, timeline, and cost the same day they came out to give me an estimate. I am going to have them come out and do additional waterproofing and stonework for me in the next few months."

"Two men came & proceeded to set out tarps, tools, etc. They quickly, yet thoroughly, inspected & cleaned the chimney. They left the area clean & tidy. Their inspection found no problems therefore they did not recommend additional work at this time. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them."

"Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"

It almost looks like an entirely new stoop, if it were not for using the same slate and bluestone and railing. It was all done in one day, too. Very professional."

I have stone pavers and they were very careful in cutting them and digging Deep enough to establish a good anchor. They even installed railings for my back stoop. I would highly recommend them! "I called Proper Construction for a chimney sweep, and they did a really good job and were careful, so they did not make any mess. They inspected the chimney and told me I needed a mortar joint repair and waterproofing because the chimney was absorbing water and would cause problems in the future. I decided to do the work and was very satisfied. I will always call them for other projects in my house."
