"Part of our home is an 1850 stone farmhouse. The basement walls, two of which are built into a hill, were beginning to crumble and water was beginning to seep in. Edgar didn't just fix the problem, they exceeded our wildest imagination of what those walls could look like. We've been through some serious rain since and they are perfectly dry and look amazing! If the house falls today those two walls will still be standing! Very prompt service, reasonable priced and super easy to work with. We'll be hiring them again for some future stone wall repair upstairs."

"Good company to work with."

"Builders responded rapidly to come to house to provide estimate which seamed fair and indeed was within just a few dollars estimated by the insurance company who was also involved since damage the result of a storm. Came and did work 2 days after estimate submitted with quality work and service in timely matter which was essential as the damaged stone wall was a retaining wall and not just ornamental so worried about possible rapid erosion around the downed part of the wall if left too long before repair completed,"

"We hired James to replace joint mortar, reset loose stones, clean and seal our bluestone front walk. We asked that it be done in early Spring. James and his helper were very careful and diligent to do the job quickly, cleanly and professionally. The finished product exceeded our expectations as the walk was almost twenty years old and was desperately in need of cleaning and renovation. It looks almost as it did when it was first installed. We are very grateful to James for such a nice outcome."

"Derek is great and easy to communicate with. He performed a lot of stone pointing including sealing joints when we got all new siding on our house that met existing stonework like our chimney. Derek is honest, his work is quality and he backs it up with his warranty (he fixed a minor issue that happened a few months later). Would/will hire again and highly recommended!"

"The Bickel Team spent a day cutting big shrubbery, cutting a minor forest of young mimosa trees and clearing the tall weeds mixed with the mimosa trees, clearing two other areas of weeds, cut ivy that had grown up the sides of buildings so that it will die, mowed approximately an acre of yard. They removed all of the debris from the property. They cleared weeds from around a beautiful young oak tree. We are happy with the results. They planted five mums. They left all the English ivy as requested."
