He handled all correspondence with the Village of Frankfort to obtain the work permit and shared every step of the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the reason for the split from the brick work and drywall. Upon one visual inspection, he was able to determine the materials that would match. While I was nervous about the possibility of the materials not matching, honestly... you cannot tell the rework was not included in the original build. He and his team did a beautiful job with the reconstruction! Greatly appreciated!"

"Can't say enough good things about our experience with AAA-1 Masonry & Tuckpointing. We had two holding walls with brick that was deteriorating. They power washed to identify which bricks needed to be removed and swapped out those bricks with new ones. In addition they replaced the capstones on the two walls with larger capstones to provide the walls more protection from the elements. Everything was sealed and completed flawlessly. The crew was experienced and professional. Since the work was done this summer, our walls don't even get wet from rain! We are so grateful for the expert repair but also the guidance that replacing the capstones would provide more of a long term solution. Highly recommend these guys for your masonry needs."

Early Spring, they rehab’d the paver driveway, straightening bricks, etc. back to new status (installed 17 yrs. ago). They recently repaired the back deck masonary-bricked at a great saving, financially and in time. (Frank dignosed the source of the problem causing the bricks to shift & ameliorated the drainage issue at the time of the deck rehab. The deck bricks had tilted up against the house - others claimed the issue was due to settling/aging & suggested tearing out/replacing the deck!) in addition, Emerald Bloom’s lawn maintenance service is the best we’ve had. It turned out that rusted lintels were no longer properly supported the brick around garden level windows and cracks were more extensive than I had initially detected. By their expert discerning of the underlying problem they provided a solution of new lintels with drainage to prevent it from happening again. They arrived early the day of the job, the owner was on site entire time participating in the work and provided insights throughout the repair about what was happening. They also supplied before and after photos, and left the work site spotless. Patient, detailed and knowledgeable. Great experience."

"I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Ed returned my call very quickly and set up an appointment. He was right on time for our meeting. He took some time looking at the chimney, climbed up to the roof, etc. and gave me my estimate along with a couple of options for how I wanted to proceed and how much work I wanted done. I was very happy with his approach.
The estimate was $2k to completely rebuild the chimney, which given the current state of the structure, doesn't seem unreasonable to me. That's a bit more than I am ready to spend at this time but I have arranged with Ed for them to perform the work later in the year.

"Good experience. Workmen wore booties, kept my house clean, gave me honest assessment of what I needed. The stone at the back of my fireplace was cracked and the serviceman told me how to fix it myself for a low cost. He inspected my chimneys on my roof, took digital photos, and showed me them when he came down. I was missing a chimney cap, which I paid for by credit card and they installed on same visit, again showing my digital photos of their finished work. I would use them again."
