"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. "I was very impressed with Josh Hopkins’ work on my chimney. He went out of his way to communicate with me and be thorough and explained what needed to be done. He and his assistant had to put some very high scaffolding up and they were careful about doing it. Nothing was damaged. They noticed a couple chinks out of mortar between bricks along my deck that needed repairing also and I appreciated that observation and repair. And they left my deck nice and clean, taking the time to blow and hose it off. Once the job was done it looks so professional and beautiful. Before it was really bad with missing pieces and bricks missing and cement broken and now it looks like new."
