"If you need any stonework done (retaining wall, outdoor living areas, anything along those lines), I would highly recommend Tecton Stoneworks. In fact, I can't recommend them enough, as they did a great job for us. I hired them to replace a retaining wall along a drainage easement on the property and the work they did was exceptional. They demolished the old retaining wall (railroad ties from the 1990s), laid a footer, and put in the new wall with no problems at all. We decided to go with the less expensive option of using blocks for the retaining wall instead of utilizing the more decorative stone that would typically be used because this retaining wall is facing a drainage easement and curls around to a drainage ditch. They put capstones on the top of the wall, mortared everything in place, and added a lot of drainage which has already reduced the amount of standing water our yard retains after rain. Additionally, they put the fence posts inside the retaining wall which makes yard maintenance easier in years to come. And, above all, it looks good. Beyond just the quality of the work, Aaron was honest and upfront about the process. He was polite, respectful, explained anything I needed clarification on, and generally was a pleasure to work with. I am very glad that I hired them for this project."

We had a design prior to the start of work and they were very helpful with suggestions as the project progressed to changes/improvements to the design. "First of all, Jacob is very punctual.  When he says he will be there at a certain time, he always showed up when he said he would. And in dealing with contractors today, I really think that is a great plus for someone.
       I called Jacob to initially fix some cracks in my mortar in my existing flagstone walkway in my backyard, some bricks on my home, and some cracks on my stone walkway in my front yard which had just been built a month before but another contractor would not return my phone calls to come out and fix them for free as part of my warranty.  He offered some great suggestions and I decided to use him.  The crew did such a great job on those first jobs that I decided to use them again to completely demolish my existing flowerbed retaining wall that I had built 5 years earlier and build me another one.  I had a GREAT experience this time again,  the work went smoothly and they finished it within the  time allotted. I would recommend them to others and will definitely use them in the future for any repairs or new builds on stone or bricks.
