"We feel so lucky that we called Pat Palmieri for the work we needed done on nearly century-old brick pillars adjoining our front steps. They had sunk and pulled away from the brick arches adjoining the steps. He considered various options with a priority of saving the old bricks, as new bricks would be hard to match. He did meticulous work in building a new foundation for the pillars, and his tuck pointing of the deteriorated stairs brought it all together. This guy is an old-school craftsman. And just a wonderful person to deal with. Highly recommended."

"Don was meticulous. I never had to question his work, and he never overlooked any detail or took any shortcuts. Beautiful brick and stone work. Couldn't be more pleased."

"I was extremely happy and impressed with the work Dan Hickin and his team at Organic Roots Horticulture did in removing our old brick patio and replacing it with natural stone pavers. Dan was very professional and responsive from start to finish during the process and at a competitive price. Perhaps most impressively, for the first time in recorded history a contractor, in this case Dan Hickin, finished our project not only on time but ahead of schedule!"

"Overall the work quality was good, but they made several mistakes, one being a rather spectacular aesthetic mistake, and the owner of the company refused to take responsibility for fixing these mistakes and wanted more money to fix it. A couple weeks later some of the bricks are falling offâ we will see if they come to fix itâ ¦"

"Did a great job on fixing a brick staircase one of our tenants took out with their car. Did excellent work and helped us avoid a costly mistake had we relied on our property management contractor."

"We entrusted Eli's in completely redesigning our landscaping. We had around the house regraded, all downspouts replaced, we ripped out some bushes, replaced mulch with stone, and planted some new bushes, trees and grass. Honestly, at first I was a little nervous because there seemed to be a language barrier and a few misunderstandings, but we were so happy with the quality of work being done, I made an extra effort to change how I communicated with him. Once we were communicating more clearly, I realized how incredibly knowledgeable Eli was (e.g. "Those bushes have thorns, so they aren't so good for kids," "Those bushes have beautiful flowers in the spring, but they attract bees- so it's up to you if that's something you want," and "This type of bush will damage the foundation to your house after some time, especially with how close we are planting these to the house."). I relied heavily on his advice and he produced a clean, modern, and beautiful landscaping design for us. No corners cut, affordable, and absolutely expertly executed."

"I had started a DIY brick patio last summer, so it was partially complete. They were able to come out the same week I was sent my quote to finish the patio. Very fast and great!"
