"We called Hotchkiss Tree & Land Services because we had a problem with one of our large trees in the backyard. The tree hadn't seemed to be as healthy as it was last year, so we called Allen to come out and take a look at it for us. He told us it was a hackberry tree and had asked us about the history of the tree and what my husband and I had noticed about it lately. He was able to tell us exactly what was wrong with the tree and why. Root rot was the culprit, and because the tree was now dangerous, we knew it had to be removed. Allen described in detail how his crew would safely take the tree down piece by piece. We were amazed at how great these guys are! Everything went smoothly, and the cleanup was fantastic! The yard looked cleaner than when they had arrived! We couldn't have been any happier with the great price and the top notch service. We highly recommend Hotchkiss Tree & Land Services and will have them back out soon to trim our remaining trees.

"Alcala matched the replaced sections in the 40 year old brick walls and it is barely noticeable.  With time it should blend in.  He also relayed sections of brick pavers that had been made uneven by tree roots.  He replaced numerous Saltillo pavers in patio and around pool.  The work was done on time and in a good workmanship like manner.  I was very pleased with the work and will use Alcala again.
