"I wanted to get my gas fire place going"

"York River Outdoors did an excellent job on our fence. Prompt, professional, and within budget. Work was completed within the deadline that was given to us and looks amazing! Would definately hire Steven and his crew again!!"

"Fast and courteos response time. Detail oriented. Took care of flooding area by installing French drain system. Great work done including clean up after. Highly recommend!"

"We had cracks in the dyed mortar of the bricks above our garage. Grady took the time to match the color, even with the color having aged 10 years, and you would not even be able to tell that there was new mortar. If your project is anything like ours, you will not be disappointed."

"I am very pleased with the work Cristobal and his team performed at my detached garage . They fixed a 97 year old cracked wall by raising the foundation and repairing the huge crack restoring the integrity of the wall to its original form. They were punctual, professional, meticulous and did a great job. The price was reasonable and Cristobal was always available to answer questions and was present during crucial parts of the job. I will hire him again for my future Masonary needs."

"I cannot rave enough about AW Masonry! The owner, Alan, is the best! His work is top notch! Alan and his workers are extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend AW Masonry & Restoration!"

"Initially Great! Jason came out and was very honest and knowledgeable. He shared what he would recommend to help with my structural damage / cracks and promptly sent out a report. After I made my decision to secure their services the contact  was lacking. A timeline or update would of put my mind at ease between the time they received the deposit and the actual services started. The work started and each day there was progress. Totally pleased. The final walk through: - Had a sticking door and was shown a trick to correct that by placing a rag in the door jam, the soil placed back in the ground was lumpy and full of brick/stone, brick mortar was not the right color but thought it would just lighten as it dried. A few months later...the mortar is definitely not the right color, there isn't a strap to hold down my downspouts and one of the downspouts fell off. I haven't contacted the company to correct as I will just live with the color and rig my own downspouts. The great news is I feel secure about the foundation work.

"Very nice man and went far above to keep communicating. Even drove from Richmond in heavy rain to give estimate. Good price but very poor quality. We even called reference he gave us. Should have requested pictures. We may have to tear out all his work and start over. Extremely disappointed in results. Said he would return for acid wash but after reading about possible problem with acid killing vegetation we were afraid for him to return. Bricks are much older looking now after he scraped them to clean them . Mortar does not match rest of house. Ugly dark brown color and extra wide mortar stripes between bricks. Porch steps looked much better before he came. VERY displeased"
