"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"We hired Michael and his team to replace our front walk and back patio. For the front walkway, they removed all of the old bricks and stacked them neatly out of the way in the woods, and then leveled everything and installed new pavers. They also used mortar to set the edging in place. They had to remove the old sand and brought in aggregate and stone dust as a base. In the back, they re-used the old bricks but had to remove everything, level it out, and then re-install. New aggregate and stone dust here too. Completed everything in three days and worked very long hours (7am to 7 pm). We made a few small adjustments along the way and the guys were very accomodating. Would definitely hire this crew again."

"I met with three different companies before I met Melvin. Each time I felt as though as I was being taken advantage of, until I spoke with Melvin on the phone. He came to my house and I just had the feeling that he wasn't like the other people who came by. I trusted him. I had been told by one person that to remove two bricks that were cracked from my firebox would make the whole thing collapse and therefore the whole chimney box needed to be replaced. Melvin did not use scare tactics with me and replaced the two bricks without anything collapsing and it looks great. Melvin also installed a chimney rain cap and repaired the chimney where necessary to provide for a secure installation. He did an excellent job.
