"Long Hill Masonry renovated our front and rear stoops, which after 65 years were slowly falling apart. My husband and I are Thrilled with how they turned out. Within 2 days of our call, Joe Tavella (Owner) came to our home to give us an estimate. We explained what our ideas were and Joe even added further suggestions to improving the design. Joe, through his expertise and knowledge was able to do what 3 other contractors told us they couldn't do. After knowing this and with a fair quote, we asked Joe when can he start the job. The job was then completed in a very timely manner (in 1 day). Joe and his team were neat reliable, efficient, meticulous and took real pride to producing top quality work. End result...Perfection at it's Best! Beautiful stoops to last a Lifetime! Without hesitation we look forward to having Long Hill Masonry do another project for us. Would highly recommend."

"Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we requested an estimate from Quality 1st for two jobs -- inspect and repair a brick chimney and repair our stone porch which had started to sink. Oscar came out within a couple of days, talked about the project, sent us an estimate and we hired his company. Couldn't be happier. Oscar told us the job would take one day, and we were a bit skeptical about that. But he did it and he did it well! Two crews came out and while one tackled the repair and repointing of our chimney, the other worked on our porch. Watching the crew repair the porch was amazing. We requested all the stones be reused because they were original to the house. When each stone was lifted, it was placed "puzzle-like" on a tarp, and after reinforcement of the sunken parts of the porch, the stones were replaced in the the same manner in which they were removed. The chimney is fixed and no longer losing bricks. We trust every bit of the work performed that day. The crew was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable--and Oscar worked right beside them. I would absolutely hire Quality 1st Maintenance again."

We, also, hired Stewart to replace well worn boards and railings on 2 decks with composite decking and new wood railings. The new pavers and decks are beautiful; the craftsmanship is impeccable. "Prompt. Called first. Postponed appointment when rain predicted (highly professional). Carefully sealed leaks in chimney and applied waterproofing to bricks. Replaced crown and installed caps. Returned twice (once without charge) to find the few minor remaining leaks. Chimney dry for the first time in years. Friendly, courteous, thorough. Extremely satisfied."

Settled on $2100 for complete cleaning of fireplace, chimney, as well as repair of masonry & bricks, installation of new liner & hookup to insert. Returned on the agreed upon date and on time.
