Get matched with top masons in Monroe, WA

"Spencer construction repaired the damaged brickwork on my house after a stolen car ran into the house at high speed. The damages occurred around a brick surround for a support pillar and also effected brickwork between two garage doors. Kevin paid attention to ensure that the replacement bricks matched the damaged ones. He also was able to cut appart undamaged bricks so that they could be reused and make the repair look as if the incident had never happenned. He protected the mortar from rain while it was drying. As an experienced 3rd generation mason, he did everything right. He was the best of 6 masons I interviewed. I would not hestitate to recommend him to others. If you're looking for an experienced and creative mason who is attentive to detail he's the best!"

"Domenic repaired a large brick planter at the entrance to our home that had been damaged by weather over the years. His bid was prompt and reasonable. He was able to get the job done quickly and his communication throughout the project was excellent. The repairs were excellent and done without making a mess. We can't even tell the planter was ever damaged. I would not hesitate to hire Domenic to do work in the future or recommend him to family and friends."

"Most of the chimney companies we got estimates from recommended grind and tuckpoint so we opted to have that done as well to get rid of growth between the bricks and bring back some life. Once our appointment day arrived to have the work done Wayne showed up on time (actually about 15 minutes early) and let us know our job should be done around lunchtime which was about half the time we were expecting based on the time estimate we had from the office staff who does the scheduling. It worked out well that I could run home from work during lunch to tie things up and pay the balance for the work. I haven't been up on the roof to check out the work but can get a pretty good view from the top of our deck and chimney looks great."

"Had two jobs for them: a pillar and an upper chimney rebuild. Both were done in a thoroughly professional manner. From estimate to clean up, everything was done beyond satisfaction. They are the type of company that makes you wish you had more work for them and I'll gladly call them again. Cost was competitive with other bids I received. My house is over 40 years old and the bricks no longer made but they took extra effort to match them and once again exceeded expectations. I would especially like to mention Connie for her patience is handling my questions. Great office staff is hard to find and she is a gem!"

"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"We were very pleased with the work done by Universal Landscape. We had a large brick paver walkway put in, a firepit added and a natural rock wall installed. They were on time, on budget and the quality of their work was exceptional. We would definitely recommend them to others."

"Davidson and his team created the most beautiful patio for us. We had a general idea of what we wanted but he went above and beyond by giving us ideas for design, color, and materials. He met me at a rock company to help me pick out boulders for our firepit. Really great guy."

"Travis was extremely professional and did an amazing job when building my retaining wall and has an incredible eye for detail! His work won’t disappoint!"

"We hired Thad, Jered, and Dan to put a water feature with a 4 tier waterfall. They also put new plants around the water feature and replaced our grass. They replaced our back fence and repaird the side fence. They did a fantastic job on our water feature. It looks so natural and is bigger than that what we were expecting. The plants were well chosen. We needed plants for a shaded area. The grass was put down with such care. The fence is nice and straight. We plan to hire them for our next project which will be brick work in the front yard."

"We decided our landscaping needing a total refresh and we hired Grassland-Synthetic Turf to build three large stone raised planter beds. Clay was my main point of contact and he was wonderful. After making the initial request for a quote, Clay came out quickly to give me an on-site estimate. In addition to providing a quote for the planter beds, he also gave me a bid for replacing our lawn with turf. Although I would have LOVED to get turf as well, it just wasn't in our budget at the moment. Clay was able to get us scheduled for the planter bed installation two weeks after I received the initial quote. He also came to do a walk-through ahead of time because I wasn't going to be home on the first day of the install. I felt confident that he knew exactly how I wanted the project to be completed. Communication with Clay and the crew was great. If they had any questions or suggestions, they would call or email (depending on how time-sensitive the question was) and get things squared away quickly. The crew worked extremely hard and did fantastic work. The total install took 3 days and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The crew also cleaned up everything when they left...our yard was definitely cleaner than before they started! Several of my neighbors have told me how much they like the planter beds. We just got the plants put in today and everything looks great!! I'm so happy with how this project turned out and I'm so glad I hired Grassland to make it happen! And maybe someday I'll get that turf..."
