We had some questions, selected stones from samples she dropped off, and had good communication that got us to moving forward. She returned with Manuel to double check the measurements, and the whole idea. The project started on time. The crew was here every week day for almost 3 weeks. We and our neighbors were happy with how the crew kept the site neat, and the alley accessible. The crew made a lot of sensible decisions based on their experience, and consulted us when needed. "Most of the chimney companies we got estimates from recommended grind and tuckpoint so we opted to have that done as well to get rid of growth between the bricks and bring back some life. Once our appointment day arrived to have the work done Wayne showed up on time (actually about 15 minutes early) and let us know our job should be done around lunchtime which was about half the time we were expecting based on the time estimate we had from the office staff who does the scheduling. It worked out well that I could run home from work during lunch to tie things up and pay the balance for the work. I haven't been up on the roof to check out the work but can get a pretty good view from the top of our deck and chimney looks great."

"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"We decided our landscaping needing a total refresh and we hired Grassland-Synthetic Turf to build three large stone raised planter beds. Clay was my main point of contact and he was wonderful. After making the initial request for a quote, Clay came out quickly to give me an on-site estimate. In addition to providing a quote for the planter beds, he also gave me a bid for replacing our lawn with turf. Although I would have LOVED to get turf as well, it just wasn't in our budget at the moment. Clay was able to get us scheduled for the planter bed installation two weeks after I received the initial quote. He also came to do a walk-through ahead of time because I wasn't going to be home on the first day of the install. I felt confident that he knew exactly how I wanted the project to be completed. Communication with Clay and the crew was great. If they had any questions or suggestions, they would call or email (depending on how time-sensitive the question was) and get things squared away quickly. The crew worked extremely hard and did fantastic work. The total install took 3 days and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The crew also cleaned up everything when they left...our yard was definitely cleaner than before they started! Several of my neighbors have told me how much they like the planter beds. We just got the plants put in today and everything looks great!! I'm so happy with how this project turned out and I'm so glad I hired Grassland to make it happen! And maybe someday I'll get that turf..."
