"Superb. Initial meeting & project walk through with Holly (project mgr, sales, & likely a few other hats in this family business) generated a detailed scope of work & bid within 2 days. I mulled over that as well as ideas we had discussed during, & that occurred to me after, initial meet. Had a followup meet to walk through & refine those ideas. Received email with updated scope and bid. We agreed to reasonable payment terms, met again to sign contract & make down payment to begin work. We met once more day before job start with Manuel (owner & foreman) to walkthru & ensure all on the same page. Due to time of year, they estimated completing job within 10 calendar days. 4-man crew showed up on day 1 and when I got home that night was impressed with progress - entire area was essentially prepped - digging, leveling, removing existing bricks & stones, 1 bush removed & replanted elsewhere. I worked from home next day and saw very coordinated efforts resulting in major portions in place by end of day 2. Day 3 was cut short by rain, but still managed to complete entire job by end of day 4. And that included a couple of tweaks (which direction pavers would run) and then some actual additions (expanded curbside landing & an additional retaining wall). Those last 2 were change orders & painless, pricing based on additional material. At end of job everything was cleaned up, put back in place, and looks better than I'd imagined. This is the second job NGL has done for us & I cannot imagine going with anyone else if we have future work."

"The Bricks Doctor came out and tuck pointed the outside of my house and chimney within 7 days. They had to replace a few bricks and did it at no cost. I have a big house so I was amazed with their timeline. They did an amazing job on my 8 ft high chimney. Their crew of 4 people finished the job with precision."

After making the initial request for a quote, Clay came out quickly to give me an on-site estimate. In addition to providing a quote for the planter beds, he also gave me a bid for replacing our lawn with turf. Although I would have LOVED to get turf as well, it just wasn't in our budget at the moment. Clay was able to get us scheduled for the planter bed installation two weeks after I received the initial quote. He also came to do a walk-through ahead of time because I wasn't going to be home on the first day of the install. I felt confident that he knew exactly how I wanted the project to be completed. Communication with Clay and the crew was great. If they had any questions or suggestions, they would call or email (depending on how time-sensitive the question was) and get things squared away quickly. The crew worked extremely hard and did fantastic work. The total install took 3 days and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The crew also cleaned up everything when they left...our yard was definitely cleaner than before they started! Several of my neighbors have told me how much they like the planter beds. We just got the plants put in today and everything looks great!! I'm so happy with how this project turned out and I'm so glad I hired Grassland to make it happen! And maybe someday I'll get that turf..."

But Ana and team worked with me to pull off the most crucial portion of the project that I could afford. The result is beautiful - a wonderful parking strip curb made of pavers set in a concrete foundation. The look is outstanding and extraordinary care was taken to shape the pavers around a curve and keep the tops of the pavers level even though the ground was not. Highly recommended."
